Basically he is saying he had a lot of respect for Macho Camacho. Even though they were rivals in the ring, they were friends outside the ring. They had several drunken nights together. Chavez remembers once he invited Camacho to Culican, Mexico and they partied so hard they went a week straight with no sleep. (Must have been doing some serious amounts of cocaine together) 😆😆😂 Two Young Champions, Millionaires in there twenties. I could only imagine the parties.

Young millionaires in their 20’s. Camacho and Chavez were paid BIG MONEY to fight one another. No reason to be enemies. Camacho was a showman. It was never personal with him. All he did was trash talk to promote the fights. He never insulted anyone’s family. Camacho was a good dude. He changed boxing forever and made a LOT of boxers $$$$$$$. Chavez knew that.
