You can grow the most beautiful plants!😍😍 You are the plant whisperer! I feel like my plants grow so slowly compared to yours! Thank you for sharing your faves. Just stunning! Something to aspire to!❤❤
Yes and alocasia maharani is a hybrid of (black velvet x melo) and amazonica (watsoniana x sanderiana) if you want to know more about alocasia hybrids visit Aroidpedia
Aroidpedia is a 👍🏻👍🏻. I know not to go down the rabbit hole 🕳️ and yet I do. For me, going down the Aroidoedia hole is a quick thrill with 🧠 stimulation of plant information. Too bad I won't remember the details a week later. Cheap thrills 😛.
Melissa, you’re amazing! I watch your updates on plants and try to purchase some of your varieties here in the UK. Honestly watching you on UTube has given me the encouragement to try a plant journey, I now have 45 plants, thanks to you I have been bitten by this new interest. Wish my plants were as beautiful as yours. Thank you for your interesting vlogs. You are amazing.
That begonia is so pretty. Did you know you can propagate multiple plants from one leaf? All of the veins can create a new plant. Lots of videos out there about it.
That is a pretty begonia. I have a snow cap non-variegated, but I prefer my Maculata. I think your Maculata is even more beautiful than the variegated one. 😊
Your plants all look so good! They're so vibrant and so many of them are so tall! If I had to pick one from all these, I'd pick the syng, b/c that kind of variegation is my jam. That velvety black pink is a close second though! I didn't have a wish list for this year, but I got a white wizard that I fell in love with when I saw it, and I got a neon philodendron (the heart leaf one) b/c I thought my neon pothos died on me. It didn't, but it's def recovering slow.
Oh my goodness, your Monsteras, Alocasia and Hoyas are beautiful and the philodendron is so pretty too! Is there a specific way you care for Hoya, because of their peduncles? Have a nice day 😊
😅 I have to not buy anymore plants till next spring. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on alocasias and anthuriums. I now have some growing in my house. 😊
You picked the best for your top favs! I’m having the same issue with my chiapense as well - all sectoral, and now I got a leaf with just a little variegation!
Holy crap!!!! What do you give your plants to grow that beautiful and that fast!? Maybe I should go to PON wow! Honestly though I think it’s just your touch I agree with everyone you are the Plant Whisperer. 😊
I ordered my very first docblock from RPF the other day, and I was totally thinking of you! I'm going to be in the same state as you when you opened the montera NOID lol ❤❤❤❤love from canada 🇨🇦
l love your monstera. You should try a wire only pole. I love them. Have my monstera and Syngonium on them. They need to have two wraps of the wire mesh.
My black velvet is the slowest plant in the universe it’s been working on a leaf for weeks. I think I am done with that plant if it doesn’t make it. Your are so beautiful!
Wow, I’ve never seen such incredible plants and I mean that sincerely. For once I won’t resort to any comedic quips about Pandora, undiscovered plateaus or time travel to allow your real plants to shine on their own. One thing I will say is that soon enough you will have to move into the Pentagon to have enough space to display all your plants; even Plantmore Estate will become inadequate. You are amazing, truly an unparalleled Plantologist Extraordinaire. Thanks for what you do.
Hey Melissa I love your videos! if it helps with the poles at all (you or anyone reading this), I have a lot of plants in hydroponics but I just fill my poles with leca and have a wick running through the middle that taps into the bottom compartment - doesnt grow as fast as a moss pole im assuming but it helps with them growing without having to water moss poles constantly xP Really love the Syngonium, gorgeous!
I got a starter Michelle from RPF a couple weeks ago with a signed docblock tag. I was so excited to get it and it is beautiful. Anthuriums are taking over my life 🤦♀️🤣 I think I have 40 now and just ordered my last 4 of the year from Palmstreet.
40 wow, that's a good amount! I'm sure I'll be at that number sometime next year haha. Congrats on getting a Michelle! I hope yours grows well for you!
I use foliage pro every time I water. I use silica now too which I feel has helped make them more resilient but I honestly feel my environment helps a lot. It’s SO warm and bright in this room which they love 😁
All just gorgeous!! For your next favorite video, you should realllyyyy try to rank them because that would be interesting to hear 😃 Excited to hear about your wish list for 2025! It’s so cool what your anthurium hybrid does with its leaves!!! The separate lobes haha. I hope mine does the same! 😉 So interesting!
Dang you Melissa for adding multiple plants to my ultimate wishlist LOL I would however love to send you a well established outer var. Polyneura cutting. I took several cuttings off mine about a year ago to sell and I just haven't been able me to part with them LOL. They have multiple nodes and are ready for propagating. I already have a full 6 inch pot of it as well as the Broget so it's no big deal esp to someone that loves them as much as I do!! I propped them in lechuza pon and they are well established. I kinda hope I get a white vine like yours. So far only my Krimson Queen has giving me a white vine. I'll be emailing you soon to see if you are interested😊
yay! Glad it's growing well 🥰 It's such a great alocasia! I hope I can get some corms soon from the albo. It seems like it wants to start so I'll be really excited to grow those out 😍
I went to Home Depot and they just finished selling their last dock block Michelle. So to cheer me up, I want to plant ferry website. And I saw it there with assigned little card saying it’s from him. Doc block so I’m so excited to get it and yes, it is $95. It’s $98 at Home Depot, I just recently saw that they have some in Texas ❤ I was in Cancun Mexico about two weeks ago, and I saw the photos they’re climbing up the trees and they’re huge just like the one that you showed us they’re so pretty
They really are ! I was so scared to try them at first, but now they are some of my easiest plants ! Haven't killed one in a year and I have now about 20 Anthurium. And I grow moat of them in ambient conditions 😊 You should really try !!
Hi Melissa, awesome video. I absolutely love all these plants you have shown..I love the alocasia black and pink velvet. I can’t remember the exact name but you mentioned it kept losing leaves and putting new leaves out. That’s exactly what keeps happening to my Alocasia frydek variegated. It’s in pon and I keep losing a leaf and gaining a leaf. I think it only has 3 leaves on it now and wondered why that was always happening.? ThankYou so much. I love watching your videos❤
this is a natural growth pattern for a lot of alocasias, including regal shield. as the plant matures it tends to keep more leaves around at any given time (5-6, say, rather than 3), but it will always continue this leaf loss behavior. odd, isn't it?
Hi Melissa! Beautiful plants. Can you tell me the pot you are using on your Alocasia Regal Shield Algo please? I really like them! Are you happy with them? Thanks!
Thank you!! Yes, I love them! I'm still new to using a wick but I like how wide they are and that they're clear so you can see the roots. There's a larger size as well by the same brand I think it's 6.7 inches. I can link the pots here: www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNDNTT17?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzmeli0992-20&creativeASIN=B0BNDNTT17&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.3DGT1T05R3EUS&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin
ah yes! I got mine from Jenna! She's so sweet. Her shop on Etsy is curious plant killer. (I love that name haha). I can link her shop here: www.etsy.com/shop/CuriousPlantKiller?ref=profile_header
Great analysis, thank you! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
I feel like alocasias are losing their older leafes faster when they mature because the base of the plant is expanding and is pressing out the little base of the small leafes. Once they are mature, they don´t lose their older leafes as much.
I can link what I buy! I like these ones because it has a PVC bottom so it won't rot in your soil. It's just coco coir! You don't water them at all. You can use some string or velcro to attach the plant as it climbs and I find mine cling onto it with its aerial roots! www.amazon.com/dp/B0BYHXGY85?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzmeli0992-20&creativeASIN=B0BYHXGY85&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.27D4Z5CKST4WL&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin&th=1
U'll always be the moss pole queen to me 👑
I still really love them but I've enjoyed not having as many to water and care for ☺️
Your Monstera Mint is beyond gorgeous 💚
Thank you! It really is 🥹 It's such a happy plant!
Ugh that mint is S T U N N I N G!!!! 😍
Right!! 😭 The color is amazing and such pretty leaves!!

Fun fact did you know that alocasia regal shields is a hybrid of (odora x black velvet)

@@plantsbymelissaThe Hoya polyneura is 😍. Are you growing the cutting from that one? Is the cutting growing with white variegation too?
Beautiful collection. Those hoya I really love the most. They are stunning . ❤
After watching your video, I now have an answer for when my son asks me what I want for Christmas! 😊
That nail polish color is perfect on you! I bet if you could find a lipstick that shade it would be gorgeous too!
Wow. Your plants look beautiful!
You look so cute!!! Like a Disney princess! ❤

I totally feel the same about moss poles-they're so much maintenance! Your plants are absolutely gorgeous, and that begonia is simply stunning!
Congratulations on 65k!!!!
All of the plants you showed are BEAUTIFUL but my favorites were the first Monstera and the Manjula.
17:03 I think the empty pole is genius! You could just add a stake to help support.
Your decipulae is absolutely magnificent! 😍
That begonia is so pretty. Did you know you can propagate multiple plants from one leaf? All of the veins can create a new plant. Lots of videos out there about it.
I’ll have to look into that, thank you! 💗
I’m propagating cuttings on mine and it seems to be working this time. Sometimes it doesn’t work for me.
Omg that was a beautiful video of some of your favorites. I would love to see more hoja plants and any more that are blooming. 🙏
Okay commenting as im watching: The Mint!! Omg. I have a TC mint baby and i love it. Seeing yours is inspiring! Maybe I should try Pon!

Your plants are always stunning! Where did you get the regal shield?
I have the same variegated alocasia regal shield. Mine grew like that.
Isn't it such a beautiful plant?! Happy yours is growing well! 🥰
@plantsbymelissa mine was a tc...tiny thing when I got it. Sure grows fast. Mine is 18". Growing on a chunky aroid pole.

How did you get the Manjula leaves so big?
Every time I put my monstera in Pon, it starts to rot. Do you have any tips for me on how to plant a Monstera cutting without roots in Pon?
I have monatera deliciosa top cutting in water for 1 month and still no roots 😢 what should I do?
I cut the Arial root close to stem is this an issue?
What is your shop web site?
Is it possible to grow most of these plants large with grow lights only? Or is that just not practical?
wait so what makes that monstera noID if we know it’s mint
