- The US has placed its assault ship, the USS Wasp, off the coast of Lebanon, as it positions warships in an attempt to prevent a full-scale war between Hezbollah and Israel. The wasp is capable of assisting in the evacuation of civilians, if that becomes necessary, as the situation intensifies. Hezbollah continues to intensify its attacks on northern Israel, which began one day after the attack by Hamas on Israel. The terror group has said it is holding back its “most devastating weapons,” but has not provided specifics.

Hez also own a ton of property, couldn’t be jammed in communications, store weapons and stuff in civilian homes and in return they get lowered rent
And each Hez fighter and even their clerics have to pass their mandatory boot camps, I read they train off US and Israeli combat manuals and doctrines, plus free training from Iran, many have combat experience in Syria, they also likely have far more sophisticated tunnels than Gaza because their North Korean homies sent advisors on how to build the tunnels, which will require a lot of ground personnel to clear out, thus a lot of casualties
Back in the Lebanon 2006 War, they built these fortifications, strongholds called Hezbollah Natures Reserves, and not even the IDF wanted to fully clear them out because it was estimated the casualties would be very high. A general said, “A nature reserve can swallow an entire brigade.” I’m sure plenty of IDF soldiers are scared of dying, but for Hezbollah they have no fear, if they fall in battle it grants them their paradise, according to their ideology (verse 9:111), so its also a religious duty for them, which makes such a fighter a formidable foe, especially when they are supposedly 100k+ Hezbollah trained fighters.
