I get mine Wednesday from HonsVR so excited . I don’t have issues with my psvr2 and glasses but I do want to play it safe. I also feel I will see improvements in my field of vision and sadly my glasses lens are a little beat so this should be refreshing for me .
@@mnation396 yes I did I love it I will just say it can be better it does have some sort of blue hue over it that you can notice sometimes when playing but being able to to play without my glasses is much better
So I ended up getting a new PSVR2 after sending my last one back. I got the Plano lenses from HonsVR. They add quite a bit of clarity to the screen. The mura and screen door effect are noticeably better. They do decrease FIV. A little unless you want your eyes pushed right up against the lenses which will cause oil smudges which further worsens the clarity. I do notice a little addition of weight as well. I have to really ratchet down the head and to keep it from pushing down on my nose and there is some light bleeding through the shield. All in all, they’re worth not having to worry about scratching your VR lenses or constantly cleaning the oil off of them. These are a win.
They really are a game changer even for me with contact lenses. My eyes would dry out and the contacts would get uncomfortable. These lens inserts totally fixed that issue for me.
Well, I wear glasses, but I don't even have a VR set 🤣- but as a former Ocean County resident (Pt Pleasant - family moved down to Florida in '87 just before I turned 13 ) I have to support my Jersey spiritual brother! Great content kevgret, keep it up!
Will my eyes be fine if I decide to use a lower prescription? Only asking because I forgot my exact prescription and don't want to go to the eye doctor. I don't care about it being super clear, just clear enough where I don't need to squint when playing VR. I know a strong prescription will cause problems, but what about a low prescription?🤔
I am seriously considering this option. There are plenty of choices, but I've seen this name around a lot. I have a to get a new prescription next month, so might invest in this and see how it goes. Hopefully my prescription will not be an issue. If it works well, I might even buy a set for PSVR1 as well.
So I sent my PSVR2 back after less than a week. I could NOT get the face oils off the lenses and it was maddening. And by cleaning it with a microfiber cloth, it just smeared it and ended up putting fine scratches all over the lenses. I don’t wear glasses but am considering trying another one with these inserts without a prescription. I don’t understand why the lenses in these things have to be so sensitive and impossible to clean.
i ordered these and they came today. these are great so far. so nice to Not have to wear glasses. if you are thinking about these, just get them. they shipped them fast too.
I was very surprised how quickly they came.. and so far I have no issues at all.. totally agree.. if you wear glasses this is such a great thing to get
hi i found the visuals on psvr2 blurry and was very disappointed however when i went back to playing gt7 without the vr headset i noticed that it was still blurry i do wear glasses for reading but i tried wearing these with the vr headset and it was even worse as my reading gasses are made for me to read something at kinda half an arms length any how i went and had my eyes tested and was told i needed a prescription for distance glasses to wear for either everyday use or when im driving so do i use this prescription to purchase the vr lenses ?? as when you put headset on the text on screen is really close to your eyes ? any how i spoke with the optition and he said i can test your eyes for reading something say 2 0r 3 inches from your eyes and he wrote down the numbers seperately so i could order vr lens . so im not sure which prescription i should use to order these honsvr lenses the prescription for distance or for real close up ?? any one have any ideas ?? thanks
Honsvr was terrible for me they are way too big on the psvr2 and take so much space, you will get light leakage just to put them on or hurt your face to try and stick close renders them completely useless
I wear my contact lenses but these are a must for users of VR who wear glasses and it prevents accident scratches to your VR lenses

Alcohol....never wipe dry! and use a Q tip
Are there any problems 11 months later? I am about to buy a pair and I need to know its worth it

No.. and eye tracking works perfectly too...
I wonder if HSA accounts cover this?
Now that is a very good question. I will try and find an answer
