- In this video I remove the 6.0 engine from the super duty chassis. We will be installing arp head studs and o-ringed heads in order to handle all of the power we will be throwing at it. Stay tuned, as we get this motor torn down and put back together!!

Just letting you know your video helped me out tremendously my 03 6.0 put a rod threw the block behind the A/C shop wanted $3000 to just swap the engines after seeing your video and realizing I didn’t have to remove the cab was a life saver thank you 🙏🏼
You are one brave young man to be doing this alone! All the best...look forward to more videos....
Thanks for the video, I'll be doing that soon and couldn't find any videos of it being done
Great job my brother. Taking my 6.0 out as well now for new head bolts and all new gaskets. Needs a deep cleaning when out though, damn front seal leaked oil EVERYWHERE...😂.. Great job
Thanks for the video!
Very detailed
Thanks
Great video I’m looking at doing a Ford F350 lariat with a 6.0 power stroke engine has 468.000km on it so I’m sure it will need to be rebuilt very soon.
Getting ready to pull my 6.0. I see you used both eyelets with chains. Did you have any trouble getting to the back one when pulling the engine? I'm afraid it might break the hood cowling
Exelente job!!
Great job man! So I’m ready to lift out my motor now. As far as transmission did you have to jack it up a bit when pulling engine out?
Sweet airbrush job on the mustache. I’ve got to touch mine up.
what
Great job
I have diesel fuel leaking into my coolant
Either a cracked head or injection cup
Seems like the cost is almost as much as having mechanic replace the motor
I live in Florida
Up in PA the fuel is contaminating the coolant blowing the degas off drove 50 miles without the knowing the cap off
Any tips on a quick fix
I've been draining the coolant adding water back
Thinking of selling as is bc I can't fix it.
It still runs fine
But I feel a ticking time 💣 😔 we're old retired and live in our camper home base Florida
Any suggestions thank 6.0 ugh
Any tips or
Dude! The title of the video is pulling the engine. "Sorry I didn't film what the title of the video is."
where’d you get the ac compressor idle pulley???
What size quick links are on the chain?
How long did it take you to get the motor out? Start to finish
About a days worth of work. So, approximately 8 hrs
I have a 2004 e350 van can I pull mine from front?
Do I need to turn my motor over for any reason as you say in the video to get the block out?
You’ll need to in order to get to each of the nuts on the torque converter, there’s 6 of them
Yep. Definitely true! I certainly did and out she came! Can’t wait to once I get my new Asheville long block engine installed! Thank you!! Definitely helpful! Keep up with your mechanic Powerstroke success!
