I was about to give up today and this song popped up on my recommended and I turned it on and I just felt the holy spirit enter my bedroom and my soul feels at peace.🙏 I'm coming back to Jesus. Its crazy how with any other animation studio there tends to be one movie which stands above the others as the "best". with ghibli, every movie is so special in its own way. they are all equally masterpieces.
My son and I spent much of our quarantine time watching Studio Ghibli movies and listening to the music while we drew together. I will forever remember this period of my life every time I hear any of these songs. It will spark a reminder of a time well spent bonding with my son over these movies, the music, and our drawings. This movie changed my life. As kid I was bullied by friend and foe alike, so much that I came to distance myself during my childhood and lashed out at everyone who came near in my teenage years. I was so caught up in my own self pity, drowned so deep that I hadn’t realized I pushed away the people that I loved the most. People that looked at me and in their eyes I heard them speak “You matter”. When I tell you I bawled my eyes out for hours at this masterpiece; a self reflection laid out before me. I reminded those whom cared about me that I love and appreciate them, and it brought out a kindness in their eyes. Sometimes humanity is such a beautiful thing.
My sister just moved out recently but she used to play oboe almost every day, this reminded me a lot of her and the good memories we share :) thank you so much, I love Studio Ghibli and the oboe is such a beautiful instrument!!

I never thought I need this playlist... Ghibli soundtrack + oboe = PERFECTION!!!! I fell in love with how oboe sounds since I re-watched Nodame Cantabile few months ago.. How calming the sound that they produce is amazing. GREAT JOB!!!

I know!! I’ve been going through a really intense depression. I finally decided today to start therapy, I re-arranged my entire room and cleaned up, now I’m in bed I’m reading this self help book while listening to this. I know things will get better
This morning, I woke up and started working from home. I poured a cup of coffee and started playing this music in the background on my headphones. As I listened, I placed the warm mug to my forehead and closed my eyes, feeling the warmth of the sun flooding through my window. Thanks for helping to make this morning so peaceful.

This gives me the sense of nostalgia of watching these animes and how new was this to me , specially, howl's moving castle, spirited away, Kiki delivery service, they really give me the sense of nostalgia which is both calming and soothing.
