First Falconry LURE of the Season! (2024/2025)

Technically I did toss the lure.... Charlie is a bit of a derp. I have no idea why she landed where she did, though it was raining and windy the whole time. Sorry about that affecting the camera a bit. This bird cracks me up sometimes. The waddling part too!
"What's wrong with Charlie's leg??"
Charlie was found in the wild with a broken leg that had already healed the wrong way. The bones were already fused, and there was nothing that could be done. (I am not her first owner so I wasn't there at that time.) She is under the care of a veterinarian, the break doesn't seem to cause her any pain or distress, and she has adapted to using it. I watch carefully for any foot problems or signs of discomfort. I have also altered some equipment to make it easier for her to balance. Don't worry! She's fine. Thank you for your concern.
