This is a triton le basically. It operates just like it, without tue sequencer of course. This is the micro X, 50. And the x50 is a stripped down TR, which is a Smarter Triton LE. Basically the LE branched of it's own little family. The category search is what make those things stand out. Awesome family of gear
i came up on one ages ago. . .i have it right next to me getting ready to start recording finally with it. . .it was a crazy love story, see it was priced like 750.00 us dollars when i had first seen it. . .then i found it in a used shelf for some reason the exact same one, same store and all (guitar center)for 225.00 i was in complete shock for it became available to my budget. . .though i wondered wtf its 225 now. . .they said all the banks are seemingly gone its basically a prop now. . . .i was like ummmm sounds like it just needs a factory reset granted i said that in my head so i bought it and looked up the factory reset and bam all the banks were reborn hahahah...i have the amazing orange case and software that came with it still. . .and had it not been for this video i wouldnt have known i have the precious white limited edition. . .i love my synth its insanely packed with sounds ive played live with it everything and it not only holds up still but has so much to offer . . .im definitely thankful for my micro x. .. it was destined to be with me. . .
It is not built well despite what these two say. The plastic scratches with the lightest of touches. The keys are asking to be broken due in part to the design and their thickness. The knobs are wobbly and the dials do fail (search). The screen is terrible to read. However; It is a good sounding synth and great that it's 16 part multi-timbral. The reverbs are nothing to write home about yet functional. Hook it up to a sequencer (I'm using the Polyend Play) and I'm so happy to have held onto this little flawed gem.
Great demo! There's something I'm wondering about. Let's say I connect a midi keyboard to the micro x. Is it possible to select different sounds for micro x and midi keyboard and play them at the same time?
Yes heres some info for you, The organisation of the sounds follows the established Korg practice of Programs, Combinations and Multis. ... You can also do the same in Multi mode, wherein the Micro X works as a 16-channel multitimbral MIDI sound source. Guess you have to setup one midi channel on the external keyboard and use the micro x for the rest, would make an interesting video bangers and chumley
i had a trito le , best synth i ever had , sold it ... just seen one of these for sale , i'm up 4 it
the Triton Taktile is still available , it's a 49 key midi controller with built in triton sounds . about £300 .
Yeah I bought it & it's been a useful bit of kit. I'm waiting now on Expressive E Osmose.

Early DSI-type oval buttons …. Ooh, fan-cy.
What is that pitch/mod-stick like … It looks great / way better than the Roland-ish stick, like they put on the MS-1, Super 6, etc !!!
Triton le is where it started.
I'm the owner of one of these. I just have to wait a month for it to be delivered from Japan.
awesome news, thanks for your support bangers and chumley
