International T2670 8x4

This International T2670 8x4 of Hawkins River Transport New Zealand is hauling Silage out of the paddock. A Class Arion 640 pulling a Class Quadrant 3300 square baler with power torque makes light work of the task for the truck and driver. Overall he International T2670 is one big rig that is a terrific owner driver truck and it comes complete with overdrive online.

Nice setup there
Used to run a 78 3070 8X4 903 9RR 38's with wedge stoppers later 44's with S cam. Stretched the chassis and moved the bogie back to fit a 20m3 Colrain body cart anything grain, hotmix, coal, sand, metals and soils, even hay. Scalies got it one time and was 33t over the bogie. Didn;t bother to weigh the front.Mostly 25t loaads but at times with roadbase and silica would exceed 30t. Eventually had to drag a dog to carry the same weights, it was too much risk. Mate had a T2670 6X4 with a 350 cummins truck and dog. Was a nice drive. Acco's are good honest trucks.
