- Hey Everyone, This video is about how I calibrate and set up my touch probe for the G0704 CNC conversion. This is way easier than setting up any type of edge finder, as well as not relying on parts being conductive or not, all is self contained and will check z heights as well. This is my favorite way of zeroing out my parts and really is the fastest way to do it.

The ebay link for the probe is no longer any good. Do you have any additional information on it. Seller, Manufacturer or model number?
So the Probe I have is the TP100r2 by IMService, unfortunately I don't know why the store is now gone, and why I cannot find the listings anymore in the US. I would lay caution, as after a quick google search I did find the manufacture website, but it is outdated and half working. I would say if I were to do it again, I would look at another probe. If you want to go down the rabbit hole, look at www.ebay.com/str/imsrv as that was their store, but seems to not be listing anything, they do have their contact info on there, so maybe it would be worth it to contact them directly. I don't want to stray you the wrong way, but maybe covid had something to do with it? if you find anything else and want to update, would appreciate it.

I'm sorry to hear, I would honestly recommend trying software before you buy, since I'm not involved with the programer who made it, I would suggest maybe reaching out to them directly. I am using a smooth stepper controller, so maybe it's a compatibility issue your having, just a guess though.
