I'm 42years old with a 3 yr old and I have yet to throw a bday party for my daughter. Kids are simply and don't take much to make them happy. It's the parents who goes above and beyond, spending a whole bunch of unnecessary money.

Awe Ashley I know what it's s like to lose a sibling. My only little brother was murdered 14yrs ago. My mom celebrates his birthday every year. But I can't deal with it so I don't show up for the cake.
