I have to disagree with you on several points. The grip frame on the Ruger is superior to Glock in several ways…it has a better gripping surface, a more natural grip angle, and it doesn’t have that awful hump at the back. I grant you, the color isn’t the best, but then, I don’t like fungus green or baby poop brown guns, either. I’ll be getting a black module for mine. The finish on the slide is excellent, and very durable. The sights are OK, but the height does have issues with some holsters (I have a Bianchi leather holster for a G19 that doesn’t have a deep enough channel for the Ruger sights, but I have a C & G coming made for the RXM. The trigger is better than Glock out of the box, the optic mounting system is better, and the removable fire control insert is more innovative than Glock. Worth $400? Absolutely!
Love your channel! You give a honest opinion! You have a right to tell people what to look for! Honest Outlaw bragged about how awesome they are but he can't even get a Desert Eagle to run ! Love your channel!!
You’re real and genuine. You would think people would like an honest review. I thought it felt cheap. I can’t find a cz10p f to hold. People need to keep an open mind on a review. You can’t make everyone happy. Keep your reviews real🇺🇸🙏🏼
Shoot, if you were in Phoenix, you could go to Ammo AZ where they are set up like an Apple store. All their handguns are out on display so you can handle each one. The CZ P10F is amazing!
@GSquaredTactical me too! It was my first pewpew purchase followed up by the P10S, which is my EDC. I just bought a Ruger PC Charger to use as my truck gun. Haven't shot it yet. Can't wait to get out there and send some downrange!
@@cueball981 Wish I had your Arizona weather. Cold and snowing in Indiana. The gun stores around me don’t have one , so I’m going to order one. They have one with the holoscun scs and 3 19 round magazines. 700$. Seems to be a fairly good deal. Take it easy!
I appreciate your reviews even if I don't always agree. FYI Honest Outlaw reviewed the same gun (Ruger RXM) that he purchased himself. He gave it a positive evaluation.
The thing is is that as far as function, I never said a single negative thing about it. I have consistently said that it worked as you would expect it to being crafted after one of the most reliable platforms on the planet. My only grief was the color combo, the goofy looking grip that had no texture or gripping the poor finish on the slide, and just the fact that I just don’t think out of all of the companies cloning Glocks that they should have done it as far as function I never said a negative thing about it
Honest Oulaw just bought one with his own money.. They all shot it really well and it looks to be a super flat shooter. It even performed better on the mud test than the Glock 19 he tested. Chris seemed to think it is well worth the money. He said it was probably the best Glock "clone" for the price point currently. No offense or anything, but you're one of the only guntubers I watch that gives so much negative criticism on a lot of pistols that arent really deserving of it 🤷🏼♂️ And it seems like most of the input you derive tends to revolve around soley the triggers and not much else, even though you say you're not a trigger snob lol. The RXM has just under or right at a 4lb trigger, which is lighter than most factory striker fired pistols out there. And I think your only other criticism was that the frame is cheap? I mean Magpul makes some of the most durable polymer/magazines available, so not sure how or why it would be subpar quality. To say this gun is not worth $400 when it features basically everything a Glock doesnt, but should, is just kinda silly imo. However, I have yet to get my hands on one.. so maybe I'll have different opnions once I do. Anyways thanks for the content man
I said finish is cheap, lower is cheap and blocky with no texturing, serrations less than impressive and trigger. Not sure what video you watched that made you think I only cared about the trigger. In fact I care very little about it. My gun worked and it’s just people want something so they inherently gravitate towards reviews that make them feel good about their purchase and or validate a purchase they’ve already made. Heck I know I’ve done it myself but that’s not helping me at all that’s just making me feel better warranted or not about something I’ve already bought or buying. Have a Merry Christmas sir and I hope you enjoy time with family and friends the Christmas season. Be blessed
You are one of three guntubers I watch. The others always have one sided opinions and never listen to anyone that has had issues with whatever they are reviewing lol I enjoy your channel keep up the good work!
@@chuckr5929 that’s why most of the first impression reviews if you will with any new gun I get is usually lackluster to say the least because I simply just want to get initial thoughts out there and then I will give it two or three days for people to start commenting and asking questions and voicing some of their potential concerns so that I can go back and address those questions and concerns on the follow up videos. Because without doing that, what really is the point in what I do? Because I’m not trying to promote a firearm brand and I never will. I simply want to give people what they need and that is does the gun work but also I have my own personal opinion which I will also give because at the end of the day, it is my channel. Thanks for your support
@@GSquaredTactical Yeah over the years I see time after time some channels all get the same gun and talk like it's the cream of the crop until the next new one comes out. I was bamboozled before buying a few that they claimed was the best gun ever made lol. Since then I look for honest people like yourself that take the time to show both good and bad. You do not butter us up or try to talk us into anything. You also reply to numerous comments which shows the good quality of your character.
Listen bro God knows I hope I do get guns sent to me but God as my Holy witness it will change nothing which means I likely won’t get many lol. I put up a bad review on a rifle that was sent to me because it kept breaking and now they won’t even communicate with me
This is why I subscribe to your channel, too many paid reviews. My first EDC was a shield 45, yet no one mentioned the trigger that snapped like breaking a stick. I think it’s perfectly fine to be underwhelmed by the rxm. I think the big picture with it is promising. Think about the first model of the 320 released. Talk about underwhelming. The reason I’m excited about it is the idea of a Glock platform gun getting the same aftermarket support as the 320. Grips for all tastes, different slides, pcc chassis, and the ability to have a bunch of different configurations. If a pistol platform is ever going to be like the AR platform (adult legos) it’s going to be a chassis, and I also think it will be Glock pattern. I think zev hasn’t taken Hold because they went straight to the high end of the market. This feels more like taking a stock 320 and hopefully being able to do whatever you want to it, multiple builds for one fire control unit and have a reliable gun.
That is an interesting take and a realistic one. I suppose we shall see what happens. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Didn't watch the other video, first one I've watched. I knos there have been others having slide issues chambering the round due to the right screw on the optic being the cause. The solution: use a shorter screw on the right side? Have you checked or tried this as a solution yet? Just wondering. I've been off and on about making this purchase or possibly the Sig Fuse.
Brother everyone has their own opinion . But your review was spot on with me . Before I even saw your pistol I had that gun the day it shelf . Wasn’t for me and sold it and took a loss . Feels very cheaply made didn’t like the slide play and trigger was way to long and the reset was way to long . My personal opinion is that finish is cheap . Gun really just feels cheap and that’s why it got sold to bass pro and bought a tti combat and am happy again
As I said on your last video I think Ruger will review your evaluation and make changes as they deem necessary. The platform will get better as long as the underlying product functions. Thanks again.
You have ejection problems because your right side red dot bolt is too long, it is interfering with the extractor. Its a known issue. Shorter bolt will fix your issue.
What? I think you missed something!! This slide was on the RXM without issue I put the slide on the lower of another gun and mostly goofing off. Although on another video I shot it without issue after changing the spring
Cheers☕ Perhaps I can offer you something to smile about this morning.😁 Here is my plans for a possible future with this fire control/insert/trigger-pack, or whatever they call it. If they release a 10 mm frame & slide for it, I figure it would be nice, if my zombie apocalypse tool, was one I was capable of reasonable success of a head shot, their zombies after all.🤷♂ I say this because every time I have ever ran a defensive drill with a Glock, my center mass aim resulted in a neck impact, which is fine, until I only had a head...🧟♀ I've shot a tool with the same grip angle for 36 years, I don't won't to waste any time, trying to unlearn what comes natural to me today.
