To folks who do not know the deserts, the floral beauty is amazing.

Absolutely... Even during the drought the desert still had beautiful flora. But it's particularly good this time.

Great video! So cool to see the megablooms thanks to the amazing winter this year.

Indeed thanks to the last two rainy seasons! It's amazing that it takes a drought to create these mega blooms.

Excellent video Thor! Again! I'm hoping to meet you this summer at the lake. 1 question; what software do you use to edit your videos? Thanks in advance

I use Filmora, but I purchased the software & own a permanent license. Filmora has already tried to recall that & failed when they were threatened with a massive class action lawsuit for violating their own terms of service. Suffice to say now they are like adobe, & are only offering subscription. I would strongly recommend just about any other software & I will be learning something new in the future as I am tired of some of the problems this software has particularly with it's licensing requirements. There's many times I have had to re-activate it & sometimes I am not able to use the software if I can't get the internet to work.

It was crazy the timing. That morning I had forgotten my camera on the way to my truck, & I had to walk back for 15mins just to get the camera. I was determined to go out that day. Stumbling into FR was really a lucky thing!

Im curious to know what happens when the lake fills back up. Do those rose pedals all eventually end up floating to the top of the water?

To bad your not a bee keeper you could camp out for a week turn your Bees lose and then at the end of your week pick up hive and back home I bet that could be some of the best honey 🍯 ever tasted.

That's a crazy idea! I am investigating other flower patches this weekend. Loads of eager flowers looking to be pollinated. I am hoping these flowers & nativt fauna gets a jump on the tumble weeds this year.
