EUCOPE hosted the sixth episode of Life Science Lectures on how to make cross-border healthcare (CBHC) for ATMPs reality for people living with a rare disease.
Our speakers stressed that CBHC is the only option for many patients, especially those living in smaller Member States. Thus, it is important to harmonise existing legislations to improve how it functions. We need timely leadership from the European Commission and national authorities, to work together with healthcare communities and find proper solutions, also through existing tools.
