got some precious quality time with my whirlrend barb last night. following the maxroll build guides, my nephalem rift variant build is assembled but not optimized yet, and I used it to smash a GR 65 and go up 28 Paragon in the process, sitting at around 225 now IIRC. it's like power leveling myself. I think in the past I had always used Ground Stomp to proc my Band of Might, this time around I went with Furious Charge and I'm floored as to how much better of an option it is. Altar is probably not even a third of the way done, I'm working on the 1100 bloodshard sacrifice (hence the GR 65).
This season’s theme is a bit underwhelming but altar makes the game enjoyable to play. Loving speed runs and farming on my Jade Doctor and Whirlwind Barb. I’ve finished the season journey and fully unlocked the altar at this point just looking for primals and to augment my gear now.
It is quite nice once you start getting double primals. 900-some paragon and got a quad primal drop (I think it was a VoE end chest). Even if they are directly useless items, being able to recycle for reforges makes them useful. Good luck!
@erikjohnson9112 my friend got a quad primal drop and 3 of the primals were set pieces he was wearing the lucky bastard, I've only gotten 3 primals this whole season so far and cant finish my altar lol
@@waltzgamez5078 Having the potions cost 1, 2, and then 3 primals feels almost mean. One for each seems more reasonable. That's incredible about the 3 set pieces at once for the worn set, RNG at its finest.
I guess I will put the bone spear on the shelf I was going to run it this season now I guess I will do the LOD nova instead thanks for putting the max roll in the description. Cheers filthy and keep up the great content.

Seeing the Wiz hit 150 still with useless worn weapons is pretty funny Also Nova necro speeds I like Brigg's of Wrath more than CoE, with AoF around you sucking everything in on you to Nova it's just much quicker than waiting for physical cycle albeit only cycling 3 instead of 4. Speeds got no time to wait! The RG might be a bit tougher though but usually still melts in 110-120 range.
You can still get Shield pylons with Nova necro you just have to manually cast Nova since we still put it on our bar and walla takes life down for Iron Rose (and Blood is power if you choose), Ez solution.
LOL, everyone is at 1500 or higher and I'm sitting over here at 356 and am just trying to get enough resources to gamble for better pieces so I can to at least GR 70 without instantly dying. I'm just happy I got an Ancient Skull Grasp ring for my Barb.
*Sigh* I feel so inadequate. My goal is just to reach GR70. If things go really well, I might try for GR90. But if I ever manage to reach that level, then I'll be so chuffed with myself :D
Everyone plays at their own pace. Video games are entertainment and are about you having fun. And a good tip in life is to compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not who others are today. There are plenty of cheats or no lifers who grind all day and that's not healthy for them IRL either way

you know normally i love your content but the constant " hey you can do this if you have insane paragon and perfect gear but if your a regular person its not possible" in this video kind of just made me roll my eyes, sounds like a skill issue sir.
Skill & patience 😂 For a perfect rift, usually takes more than 50 keys (less if lucky). I've seen peeps under 2k gons break 150, even under 1.5k last season. Ofc for casual player like me, raw power from gears & gons is the only factors 🤦♂️
Huh? Are you suggesting people can clear 150 without the paragons and gear? Yes skill comes into it, massively, but without a high degree of grinding 95% of builds in this game are getting nowhere near 150

After complete altar, primals only good for augment. 1:1000 chance gettin usefull primal drop.
It warms my heart to know that FIlthy has the exact same taste in Cinema that I do.
Finally got my Chicken WD put together last night and finished the Journey. Now I just need to get some augments because he's pooping out around GR90

With season themes now being repeated, I wonder which one in the rotation will synergise best with the Altar to give the biggest power boost?

Coolest has been, last season with soulshards. Whats cool w soulshards is that so many builds benefit from them and can go gr 150.
I think soul shards is the highest boost, ethereal at 2nd.

I'm a newer player, but was just blown away by people having high paragon already in season 31; how do they do it?
Don't sleep for whole week, farming gr 100-120 😅
it's not 24/7 farming. Most of these very high paragon points are people botting. They'll run it 10+ hours a day. Not all just a lot do.

On LOD Nova or Bone Spear? If BS, pick a generator eg grim scythe, if Nova - use siphon blood, Funery pick and Iron rose
