quick tip though for this season... if you get a shard at 3rd rank and you dont want it... dont nuke it... use it to augment.. works just like a 125 whisper thing... even i didnt know that found out last night.. i literally have all augments on my dh now and working on my sader today... its crazy man btw i stand by my one comment... lvl 1 sader called cowstick 1 in 3 cowstick polearm upgrade 2-3 portals in each now i only do bounties for the plans/designs or act item.. other than that lol visions... but i got the double bounty drops now so might do bounties for visions to pop
@@minarii111 apologies ... make a lvl 1 crusader.. never level him up.. make lvl 70 polearms .. upgrade in the cube.. 1 in 3 gets ya a bovine bardiche... put that in the cube and transmute it.. a red portal will open up.. you can only do this once per game so clear it leave then you can do it again.. there are tons of chest... tons of cows.. 4 shrines, 2 exp pools and visions will pop.. there is a cow queen that lets go a ton of electrics ... a cow even with like 3 waves with 4 chests at the end.. tons of chests and villiagers that pop tons of gold
@@minarii111 ok the whispers once ya get passed 125 round ... i always go 126 to make sure its a 125 .. you use those as gems to augment gear.. has to be an ancient item... any legendary gem, whisper or shard... and 3 highest gems of your main stat... the shards can nuke to random gems.. but if you get a rank three ya dont want... put in cube with 3 gems of ya main state and ancient item and you get a easy quick 625 main stat to that item

i can generally spawn 3 visions in fields of misery. i think its better then temple of the firstborn. it takes alot of time to restart a game so it better to restart less as you can. also you would not abandon the run if you wanted to be the most efficient. the play there is to go past the vision kill the butcher and backtrack a few seconds to the vision otherwise you are spending more time to make more runs overall.
With pet auto-salvage, if you need to pick up items just unequip your pet for a while. I'd forgotten this was possible until I really needed the pesky thing to let me grab items for mat conversions.
@@xsaviour755 Have you tried re-equipping your pet? Or trying a different pet? Also, you could try creating a new character, then equip a pet and see if it works on them.
New to the game and while i was leveling to 70 as a demon hunter i saved up a decent amount of mats. But after hitting 70 i spent them all quickly, plus a lack of bounty mats. After watching this im back to where i was before mats wise at around 100 - 200s and about 30 for each bounty mat. My build is still non existant as i was just using a low leveled sin seekers to push forward with whatever gave me decent damage and toughness. Now i have the sin seekers as a power so i can use a better quiver and 3 pieces of sage set. Only at torment 2 so i got a long ways to go before being able to progress the season again but atleast now shouldnt have to struggle as much to collect the mats to craft and reroll gear. Thanks.
Running on switch and I only farm materials by doing visions, I go to the temple of blood or whatever it’s called in act 2 with vidian, every single time you run that map You get a vision. Along with a fast build you will run into the goblin visions and you get soul shards like crazy and the upgrade mats for them. I have all armor augmented before 800 paragon
Ruins of Secheron: on my way to get the cube at the start, 4 visions. Secheron and GreyHollow Island are dense too, with better XP. So paragon quicker with the same strat.
By far the biggest pain point for me this season has been veiled crystals. I find split bounties with double cache rewards to be the fastest way to replenish those. I haven’t been doing mass reforges yet but got one build to that point so I am sure forgotten souls will be the new limiting reagent for me going

My point stands that when using everything at your disposal, veiled crystals will be the limiting reagent until you start mass reforging, and in my experience, double bounty cache has been the fastest way to acquire them, outside of getting lucky with a goblin floor in an Enmity or a Whimsyshire.
you are right that Veiled Crystal is the biggest bottleneck but since you can just buy vendor whites/blues and convert it's really not one in practicality. Souls is easily the biggest limiting steps due to its steep cost in reforging.
Speed gr good for Veiled Crystal as well as leveling paragon. I normally do speed gr 110 or higher. Unless u are so rushing to gr150 in paragon below 1500.
@@SibleyHousehold console damage is literally halved unless you maintain neph glory orbs which is harder to do with the extended kill streaks. The orbs stop dropping after 300th kill so you need to literally stop and wait for the streak to end to start dropping again. Console massacre bonus also doesn't get buffed by changing the difficulty so you can't use it for leveling. Couch co-op gets double blood shards if you both open a challenge rift cache on the same game. Doesn't help solo heroes tho. though. I'll gladly trade both those bugs for the massacre related fixes.
With the visions of enmity fissures not yielding vast amounts of greater rift keys anymore, we do need to run Nephalem rifts to get enough keys for our leveling up of gems, blood shards from Kadala, etc. With that in mind, if you're in a Nephalem rift (or the open world), click on the weapon racks, armor racks, and especially the "decaying armor" piles in Battlefields maps. Tons of white materials that way.
yeah, i did notice that i'm not finding nearly as many boss rooms and keys from those boss rooms inside the visions of enmity, anymore. last sesason, holy cow, i just always had keys and never had to do a single neph rift. (s29).

I know people love temple of the firstborne, but the two Necromancer areas (given to us for free around the release of the Necromancer) were both dense areas designed for corpse explosion to sell more Necromancer expansion packs. They’ve tuned things down, but these areas are rich in XP. Better XP than earlier. Grey Hollow Island ftw! 😉🇨🇦
That feeling when you're para 900 and barely have gotten enough primals to finish the altar. Still haven't gotten my first double drop... I know it's coming... but RNG can be infuriating. I'm still running a non-ancient weapon due to lack of primals. Some people get stuck on waiting for the first gift to drop, but thankfully you can get someone to drop one in a group. Typically veiled crystals are the limit until you have crafted most of what you need (and stop upgrading rares for reforging items). Once you get there, you're generally in a pretty good place. Souls just scale with you farming rifts, GRs and emnities.

At 1k now, I've only had 5 primals drop (one of those was mandatory from the first GR70). My 6th was from crafting a ton of guardians set pieces. RNG is weird. Sometimes you get a gibbering gemstone on the 2nd run. Other times it takes a couple hours 🤣
The first time around with the altar I was stuck on ancient puzzle ring for a long time .. while in possession of a primal ancient puzzle ring. I liquidated that ring so hard after staring at it all day, and then had a moment of remorse thinking I messed up. Never did get that ancient puzzle ring that season .. and got all 6 primals pretty quick in the next few days. Felt relieved and vindicated for sacrificing it out of frustration. And Unironically .. I'm stuck this season on the ancient puzzle ring again. /sigh
last season i spent so many resources trying to upgrade into an ancient puzzle ring. that node on the altar is total garbage and they should just make it "2 x puzzle rings" or 3x puzzle rings, and not an ancient. stupid requirement@@ToadstedCroaks

is it better to just charge through the entire portal then pick up after the chest drops or pick up on each floor? dont know if the kill streak improves drop rates or not

its not immediately obvious what the best build to use for vision of enmity is, esp. if u are not fully geared out yet. if you are still kind of squishy, and/or working on your build, and/or playing on hardcore, you may want to have a build that is a hybrid between neph reft and solo pushing. like u will want the goldwrap but u don't need speed when doing the enmities, you need more toughness and dmg
This season so far Ive been really lucky, having said that the rorg took ages to get. And so far I had no luck with the ramaldis gift. Did find like 4 pet goblins though.
I found that lowering the GR level to 70s instead of running 100s gave me the ramaladnis gift. Going high in GR causes the soul shard things to drop instead of the ramaladnis
Same problem with my main account - still no Rama (and I've not had Nemesis bracers drop either, very strange). Mind you, I'm casual and only P600-ish. Don't think I've ever gone beyond P500 without a gift dropping before. It's annoying, but... all hail the RNG.

I think bounties are the best to run honestly, 1 run of all 5 acts gives you like 900 reusable parts, 900 arcane dust and 300 veiled crystals. So in total 2100 resources of your choosing since you can swap them to whatever you want. On top of that you get blood shard and during the bounties visions are also able to spawn.
you can easily get over 2100 resources from visions in the time it takes to solo all 5 acts lol, plus bounties are some of the most boring content ever.
And I do the enmity in a zone only once I complete the bounty there, so I minimize back tracking. If the enmity is near the start, I jump into the enmity.
If you want reusable parts and need white items to do an equalization, but you can't because your pet dismantles them. PRO TIP, unequipe the pet 😂. Even those things aside awesome video, keep the good work up 🎉🎉🎉

Lol... Never Reforge anything until u need the last 2 pieces which are Weapon>amulet> ring(reforge order in most case) Bounty Mats just nothing nowadays with Vision of Enmity.
Y'all are whining about crafting mats... I'm here hoping someone knows a good way for DH to farm Petrified Screams. Are rifts the only way? I've ran up GR80-GR115 and not a single petrified scream!
This event is only available in January. Basically, you play Diablo 1, and you get some transmogrified items, a couple of pets, and other stuff. The main thing it’s used for is the magic rock which helps you start off your alter of rites cause of the gems in provides early into the game.
Was hoping on more info getting ashes. Apart from the 1 primal you get at GR70, i've had 0 primals so far... 😢 At this rate, the time it will take me to complete the altar to unlock dubbel primals, season will be over. 🤨
Just need more time farming. I unlocked my last altar tier in the 900ish paragon ballpark... primals were absolutely the limit for my RNG. One way to look at it is how high your rift counter shows. The faster the season start, the longer the end game grind feels because you start it much earlier.
@@rayzhang7591 I'd say 1min 15s or less 90+ across the board for just farming legendaries (quantity is the only thing that really matters). When you can do 50s GRs consistently, it's wayyyy more efficient than 2 minutes. You can farm higher (for solo XP) once you have all the gear you need.
I got lucky. I was tryna get ancient hellfire amulet and saw my 2nd primal drop from a uber boss then not too long after I entered rainbow portal and saw that i passed a primal that spawned on my map so I went back to get it. Now i only need 3 for for the altar
@@nmnate I mean, it depends on the builds. Most builds with a speed variant can reasonably aim for sub 2:00 GR 90. However only top speed farming builds like inna or GoD DH can do a comfortable sub 60s run without lowering the GR tier by a lot or getting high paragon and augments.
Craft the Cain set and put into your follower , you will double the number of GR Key. 2nd method is do more Vision, the bosses of Vision will occasionally drop GR key too.
On monk, I found halls of agony 1-3 and fields of misery far better than temple of the firstborn. Firstborn just has too many doors, slow spawning enemies, and rigid corners that bonk your dashes.
in visions only goblins give mats and thats a huge problem, gob are to rare, one gob level spawn in maybe 15 visions runs, also i think Rifts keys drop are too low also..i think for mats, double bounty in good group >>>> Visions!! also for keys Nephalem rifts >>>>>Visions, Visions again seems just waste of time, just for solo playing and Forgoten soul!!
Trying to get enough souls is killing me. Having bad luck with the Alter, needing hundreds to craft hellfire amulets and hundreds to reroll puzzle ring, on top of the ones that just require souls. What a huge pain, thousands of deaths breaths and everything else. Wish they would have reworked some of the alter requirements or some off the cube and crafting requirements / rerolling so that fricking everything doesn't require souls.
Bro Krextus, hellfire amulet is nothing and why bother to reforge a puzzle ring.? Just speed gr u will get one and it come fast without even u realize it. And do it worth ur time just for a little upgrade in dmg/defend?

Pick White items and savage them, then convert into yellow in the Cube as mentioned in this video.

Easiest place to spawn the emnity portals is Temple of First Born level 1 and cow level imo. Fields of Misery isnt a bad option either.
The Cursed Woods (act 3 Sescheron) is pretty good too, especially if you find the cursed chest in the middle.
And Grey Hollow island. Better XP is the icing on the cake!

Finishing the altar requires like 6 primals, so being lvl 900 and still didn’t finish altar is normal, I’m 1.1k level and just got my altar done
@@yuchentrilovszky2413 Yeah, dunno. Just felt like the RNG was extra stingy compared to other seasons. Maybe it's just because I was paying attention to primal quantity. At 1k now, I've only had 5 primals drop (one of those was mandatory from the first GR70). My 6th was from crafting a ton of guardians set pieces.
RNG is weird. Sometimes you get a gibbering gemstone on the 2nd run. Other times it takes a couple hours 🤣
The first time around with the altar I was stuck on ancient puzzle ring for a long time .. while in possession of a primal ancient puzzle ring.
I liquidated that ring so hard after staring at it all day, and then had a moment of remorse thinking I messed up.
Never did get that ancient puzzle ring that season .. and got all 6 primals pretty quick in the next few days. Felt relieved and vindicated for sacrificing it out of frustration.
And Unironically .. I'm stuck this season on the ancient puzzle ring again. /sigh
last season i spent so many resources trying to upgrade into an ancient puzzle ring. that node on the altar is total garbage and they should just make it "2 x puzzle rings" or 3x puzzle rings, and not an ancient. stupid requirement@@ToadstedCroaks
@@ToadstedCroaks since the Altar will be part of all seasons going forward, as will the Visions of Enmity, here's a tip for you. Since you should have a decent amount of bounty mats and Forgotten Souls, just reforge a regular puzzle ring a few times until you get an Ancient.

is it better to just charge through the entire portal then pick up after the chest drops or pick up on each floor? dont know if the kill streak improves drop rates or not
The kill streak doesn't affect the drops so just pick up what you want

its not immediately obvious what the best build to use for vision of enmity is, esp. if u are not fully geared out yet. if you are still kind of squishy, and/or working on your build, and/or playing on hardcore, you may want to have a build that is a hybrid between neph reft and solo pushing. like u will want the goldwrap but u don't need speed when doing the enmities, you need more toughness and dmg
This season so far Ive been really lucky, having said that the rorg took ages to get.
And so far I had no luck with the ramaldis gift.
Did find like 4 pet goblins though.
I found that lowering the GR level to 70s instead of running 100s gave me the ramaladnis gift. Going high in GR causes the soul shard things to drop instead of the ramaladnis

Same problem with my main account - still no Rama (and I've not had Nemesis bracers drop either, very strange). Mind you, I'm casual and only P600-ish. Don't think I've ever gone beyond P500 without a gift dropping before. It's annoying, but... all hail the RNG.

And a 1K paragon person ran efficient GR 90s for 3 of us. I went from 0 set pieces to 2 complete sets! Rocking TragOuls now.

@@redelfshotthefood8213 That's great! Wonderful when people help out. I had someone help me farm up a bunch of legendaries a while back and it really made a positive difference to that season.
I think bounties are the best to run honestly, 1 run of all 5 acts gives you like 900 reusable parts, 900 arcane dust and 300 veiled crystals. So in total 2100 resources of your choosing since you can swap them to whatever you want. On top of that you get blood shard and during the bounties visions are also able to spawn.
you can easily get over 2100 resources from visions in the time it takes to solo all 5 acts lol, plus bounties are some of the most boring content ever.

T16 public bounties with double bounties is insane
And I do the enmity in a zone only once I complete the bounty there, so I minimize back tracking. If the enmity is near the start, I jump into the enmity.
If you want reusable parts and need white items to do an equalization, but you can't because your pet dismantles them. PRO TIP, unequipe the pet 😂. Even those things aside awesome video, keep the good work up 🎉🎉🎉

He only picks up small items. This doubles his efficiency.
Lol... Never Reforge anything until u need the last 2 pieces which are Weapon>amulet> ring(reforge order in most case) Bounty Mats just nothing nowadays with Vision of Enmity.

This event is only available in January. Basically, you play Diablo 1, and you get some transmogrified items, a couple of pets, and other stuff. The main thing it’s used for is the magic rock which helps you start off your alter of rites cause of the gems in provides early into the game.
I do all this and I always run out of Veiled Crystal :(
Was hoping on more info getting ashes. Apart from the 1 primal you get at GR70, i've had 0 primals so far... 😢 At this rate, the time it will take me to complete the altar to unlock dubbel primals, season will be over. 🤨
Just need more time farming. I unlocked my last altar tier in the 900ish paragon ballpark... primals were absolutely the limit for my RNG. One way to look at it is how high your rift counter shows. The faster the season start, the longer the end game grind feels because you start it much earlier.
Speed farm GR. You want to run the highest GR that you can comfortably finish around 2:00 regardless of map.
@@rayzhang7591 I'd say 1min 15s or less 90+ across the board for just farming legendaries (quantity is the only thing that really matters). When you can do 50s GRs consistently, it's wayyyy more efficient than 2 minutes. You can farm higher (for solo XP) once you have all the gear you need.
I got lucky. I was tryna get ancient hellfire amulet and saw my 2nd primal drop from a uber boss then not too long after I entered rainbow portal and saw that i passed a primal that spawned on my map so I went back to get it. Now i only need 3 for for the altar
@@nmnate I mean, it depends on the builds. Most builds with a speed variant can reasonably aim for sub 2:00 GR 90. However only top speed farming builds like inna or GoD DH can do a comfortable sub 60s run without lowering the GR tier by a lot or getting high paragon and augments.
How to get more gr keys? I only get 3 key per neph rift run
Craft the Cain set and put into your follower , you will double the number of GR Key. 2nd method is do more Vision, the bosses of Vision will occasionally drop GR key too.
forgotten souls still a problem got like 2k bounty mats and no forgotten souls
the visions give you a ton of legendaries by the time u get to T14 and above. that's how i been getting my forgotten souls for the most part
On monk, I found halls of agony 1-3 and fields of misery far better than temple of the firstborn.
Firstborn just has too many doors, slow spawning enemies, and rigid corners that bonk your dashes.
Same idea, but higher XP is Grey Hollow island.
in visions only goblins give mats and thats a huge problem, gob are to rare, one gob level spawn in maybe 15 visions runs, also i think Rifts keys drop are too low also..i think for mats, double bounty in good group >>>> Visions!! also for keys Nephalem rifts >>>>>Visions, Visions again seems just waste of time, just for solo playing and Forgoten soul!!

Trying to get enough souls is killing me. Having bad luck with the Alter, needing hundreds to craft hellfire amulets and hundreds to reroll puzzle ring, on top of the ones that just require souls. What a huge pain, thousands of deaths breaths and everything else. Wish they would have reworked some of the alter requirements or some off the cube and crafting requirements / rerolling so that fricking everything doesn't require souls.
I had 28 chances for an ancient hellfire amulet. Bingo on the 28th! Last gasp! Keep at it! You can do it!

What I concern about was double kadala, auto pickup, auto salvage and more orbs etc which below level 15 unlocked in altar. 😅
