Chinese and most Asians have similar childhood experience of strict parents and a set career path to pursue. Chinese connected with 3 idiots first and then Dangal which both have that aspirational feel to young men and women. So, Chinese like Aamir Khan for these movies. They call him 'uncle Aamir' lol.
I have few Chinese friends and they told me that Amir Khan was a huge name after 3 idiots that's why his movies like Dangal and Secret Superstar where big hits there... And any one can please tell me why His movie Chinese collections are considered Fake in India?
Because of andhbhakts. No-one used to question box office collection earlier. But now some bhakts starts boycott trend against Muslim actors and their movies and when they fail to do so they try to spread negativity by saying fake collections. Recently srk fuckked andhbhakt community by two back to back blockbusters. As a Hindu myself, I am happy and content by this humiliation of boycott gang 😂😂
They are not considered “fake”….. the thing is other actors dont have a huge market in china like Aamir Khan and its not a traditional diaspora audience so these trade analysts undermine it …. But they do acknowledge the huge collections of Aamir films in china coz its the second biggest market in the world after USA and brings home huge money for Aamir films and decent money for some more Indian films too coz Aamir opened up the Chinese market for Indian films
i was an indian girl who was raised like a boy, and im in my 20s now, so its not a new thing in India either. and no, my parents arent high-society either, they just migrated to the city and realised that oppurtunity for women do exist in our country-- it just cant be nabbed by demure and quite small-town girly girls. You need to be a little rough, loud and shameless to reach a place in indian society that a boy can reach easily. Yes, i am successful now, but somewhere inside me ill always carry the memory of being a little girl who was shouted at and hit for wanting longer hair or for wanting to wear frocks or go for dance classes. Im older now and off my own accord and will, i have more male friends than female, i smoke and drink, i lift heavy at the gym, and my mom tends to ask "does all this look good on a girl?" but i guess thats the kind of "successful woman" you build in a society that systematically hates women climbing up-- You simply build a man.
In ancient India, there was a lot more equality between sexes (as evidenced by for example, presence of various female deities, goddesses) however, the indian culture became more protective of women when foreign invaders came to India. Such a protectionist attitude eventually leads to unequal treatment between sexes.
I would say thats a dangerous statement to make so quickly based on a bunch of factors because India has a huge history and well, overall in the world patricarchy has dominated cultures quite strongly for some very simple reasons - for example women are the ones who gave birth and lacking todays technological advancements in healthcare etc it was physically easier to in a way ¨subdue¨ women to be confined to a household etc. Thats kind of universal and I would think India is no great exception. Even before the British came to India, Sati, child marriage etc were indeed common and widespread.
Also just to add - even today female deities are widely worshipped and regarded - that doesnt change the fact that son preference is still disappointingly real. I think people dont really tend to connect the two (eg we say a girl is lakshmi but then why is female foeticide still practiced). The fact is its all very complicated because humans and societies are complicated, and people are not always rational especially when they lack education etc. I always think that India and its history are amazingly complex I am always perplexed by such overall statements...its better to look at everything case by case.
@@archieravi11 By invaders, I just don’t mean only the British. Invaders had ruled India for about a thousand years before the independence from the British. Sati, for example, came out of the fact that Muslim invaders will kill a husband after conquering and rape the wife, that resulted in woman deciding to kill herself rather than being raped.
@@RK-tf8pq I really believe now that this ¨invader¨ concept is very worngly understood in India. Even when the British left, India was a set of 500 odd princely states...we cannot just choose to choose one point of time randomly to say, everything before this was ¨local¨. Humanity and the history of humanity is very complex. The concept of ¨India¨ did not exist for a long part of the time that the subcontinent is inhabited. If you keep goign back even further, species similar to homo sapiens all moved out of africa to various parts of the world...we dont call them invaders, its just human migration. I would recommend the book Sapiens by Yuval Harari to get more perspective on this overall. Whatever be the case we shoudl start from where we are in the present. JUst saying something was better before xyz and blaming something else doesnt help the cause of making current things better.
There is still this massive difference between China and India, as to why parents choose to raise their daughters as sons. In China it's a systemic practise to rasie girls as boys, whereas in India it's very uncommon to do that. In China, it's more driven by personal desire of the parents and done mostly by high-society individuals, whereas in India it's driven by socio-cultural pressures and done only if you have no other option.
the idiot who made this video in a second termed entirety of India's history as "Sexist" but these piece of shits will never be able to explain how was India sexist for last 5000 years?
What i especially didn't like about this story is that the girls didn't choose their destiny, but were forced to do wrestling . And when one of them tried to affirm her right to be a woman, she was reprimanded as if she did something bad.
I am all in on Patrick Mahomes and his greatness ❤🎉 u should teach ur Indian Viewers about NFL in some of ur reaction videos. Starting from Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers
This guy isn't making much sense. Amir khan slowly build a liking for himself there. 3 idiots is quite popular there and thn PK came from and did quite well in theaters there,Amir khan became popular name there ,with good marketing and content it succeeded. Even Amir's Secret superstar did $100 millions in china
So typically American of you to talk about everything except the part of his video that was most relevant: in a prejudiced society the only way out is the grind, hard work, and chasing exceptionalism. For you to just ignore this point coz America doesn’t care about meritocracy in education anymore (the woke laws now dominate American education policies) is so telling of your own mediocre view on both prejudice and “the way out.”
Yeah but isn't it interesting that SRK Is popular in European Countries (especially UK and Germany) , Amir in China and South Korea, Rajinikanth in Japan and Salman Khan in Some African Countries...we often underestimate our own stars!
SRK is the most popular Bollywood star around the world even without the Chinese market. He left that for Aamir whereas Aamir is nothing without china.Don't worry Srk will conquer china through Dunki😊.

Yes, in many ways, especially considering social norms and societal structure
Coitus game as well.
And that’s nothing to be proud about 😂
Same about 3 idiots, most South East countries have seen 3 idiots in their childhood
China and haryana ( state where the film is based on) both have very skewed male female ratio and both had a big problem of female fetuses killing.
