I discovered this channel today- this is fantastic! As an organist and former organ builder you are doing a great service with videos like this.

Very nice organ! I also enjoyed the organist with his nice flowing technique!

i love organs that have this deep almost roaring sound. It really highlights the mightiness of the organ.

The 1927 Estey pipe organ at my church also had a couple string ranks cut down into 2'ranks for both great and swell. Must have been the popular thing to do at the time!

Interesting: I'm the the current organist at the Episcopal Cathedral Church of the Epiphany where I play a Tellers Opus No. 1 organ built in 1906. The great stops are almost identifical to this Tellers-Kent organ. Tellers bought Felgermaker.

I'm curious to learn more about Tellers opus 1...PipeOrganDatabase states "The organ was relocated in 2006 to Iglesia de la Epifania (Union Church) of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic."...

This sound brings back memories of my childhood, not from a Tellers-Kent (at least, I don't think so), but from organs in the style of the early 20th century. I haven't heard that sound in decades.

Sounds like their is alot of Felgemaker influence in this instrument! It would be neat to add those two string stops back in to the stop list.

And this is a constructive comment how? You don't know him or his background...so who are you to judge and make comment?

I rather like that these local, sometimes modest, organists are given the opportunity to shine too by showing off their instruments. It must be very motivating for them and an experience they won't forget easily. This positive energy will make them practise even more and play even better for everyone to enjoy. And we got to know yet another interesting instrument.
I say this as a teacher and a highly professional organist.
Cheers, Willem (resident organist in Brussels & cantor organist in Antwerp, Belgium, EU)

I understand what you mean. Somehow, he gave off the vibe as though he was expecting an Indian burn any minute.
