I got this exact foam cutout from the same company for my Pelican case. I used an Xacto knife to modify the foam to accept my pistols that are mounted with Surefire x300 lights. It does make the modified pistol slots a little flimsier, but it doesn’t actually impede the function of them. Getting frames with aggressive stippling out can also be a little challenging. There’s three things that scare me about this foam cutout - 1) if I buy a CZ P-10F and put an optic on there, is it going to fit? HIGHLY questionable. 2) Will pistols with mounted competition oriented optics fit? - Holosun 507 competition, SRO, DPP 3) Will magazines with extended baseplates that increase capacity by 4 or more fit? I’m somewhat relieved to see that you were able to make the ones that you have fit.
It does a bit but not bad, I've run everything from small 43x, p365 sized guns up to an x5 legion and my combat master 2011 in there. I've never ran into any problems

Yea you could do that. It has spots to lock it up too. I typically leave guns in it and put it in the safe.

Does it press on your optics any? Your like me with RDS on everything and I bought a case club and almost nothing beyond a sub compact fits.
