I've been trying to tab out this song and the way you figured it out looks pretty identical to the way I did it, grant it there aren't too many ways to interpret the riffs on this song lol, awesome job!
Yeah this song wasn't too bad tbh there are a few fast riffs that are pretty indecipherable, but for the most part it's just slam riffs the whole song lol
I was planning on covering this song since I spent A LOT of time deciphering the riffs for it, and I think I learned to play it like it was recorded for the album.

So heavy yet 'only' tuned down to C!
B Standard, on their first demo it was F#...on a 6 string...in the mid nineties.
This album is a prime example of stupid low tunings ≠ heaviness. It's all about the riffs/song writing, vocals, drums, the whole atmosphere, not just guitar tuning. More examples: Cattle Decap and the early Cannibal Corpse stuff in Eb. Dying Fetus, Behemoth, and Suffocation in C# , Inveracity, Internal Bleeding, Decrepit Birth, and Gojira, just a few examples in D, Dehumanized, Disgorge, and Defeated Sanity in C standard.
@@TheGreatBaronOBeefDip I'm like 99.99% sure MTD was recorded in C standard. The only reason I am not certain is because I read somewhere(wish I remembered where) Kevin Clark himself said MTD was recorded in C#, but I think he is misremembering or something cause it sounds like C to me. Definitely possible because it was a long time ago, and they probably tuned back down right after the album was recorded. I tried C# and it wasn't working, it sounded off by a half step, and B sounded too low to me. You are right they were tuned to F# for their first demo(Impaled), on 6 strings which is nuts. But when they went to record MTD the sound engineer made them tune up because it was too muddy. It would be awesome if they re-recorded that album in F# with todays technology, and used baritone 6 strings or an 8 string
@@timrc666 It may be between B and C, but if you find the lowest note, its a B note, added to the fact they played a lot of first fret riffs as well. I know it isnt great evidence, but every tab you could read says B, and you can hear the midi and its on it.
