Uta is a kid with a very Japanese mentality. They think in terms of status for many things in life, so once they rise to fame they simply think they “deserve” winning. That’s why they’re exposed to being shocked after being defeated according to the rules of the sport. Well executed ippon victory for Diyora.
The fact that Uta Abe collapsed in extreme shock at her sudden unexpected loss should tell anyone the level of commitment she has to her chosen martial art. To her, it isn't simply a part time activity but a lifetime dedication to the entire world of Judo and to her home nation of Japan and the ancient traditions which accompany what now has become an international competitive sport. Thus, her personal identity and stringent sense of self is inextricably intertwined with the essential aspects of all that it means to be Japanese while at the same time finding herself thrust into the limelight upon the world stage where there is nowhere to hide and where all of one's personal faults and defects are on display for all to see and alas by many it would seem, make hasty judgements about.
She got corky and lost. ...1st loss in 5 years.... the best... blah-blah. She went into the fight completely open, thinking her opponent is not as strong as her. Her hysterics are a disgrace to her sportsmanship and her nation.

She lost to the champion 🥇
Диёра занимала 1-место в рейтинге.А Ута не приняла в серёз соперницу.
Even the greatest champions can lose a contest in a split second. Losing one individual contest does not devalue a person's well established status.
