Hey, Merg, i would like you to play Everhood. Its a cool underrated game, which is simular to undertale, yet not related to it. I think you will like it. The songs, the lore, the mechanics, The characters are all really well made, its a shame that alot of people overlook this game. P.S - there are also difficult fights that you could try no hitting

hi merg, have you heard of the ribbit it's a sort of "hard mode" deltarune mod it's got its own story and it changes pretty much every single line of dialogue in the game it does have some swears here and there but i think you'll enjoy it anyway
I feed so bad for muffet. She is WAAAAAYYYY under rated even though spider dance is a bop, the mechanics for her fight are really cool and unique, and she has a great overall character design. (She also obviously isn't in this game)
She's not underrated she is as impotant as napstablook or mád dummy were she just had a better song and design but in terms of lore relevance she could perfectly not be there and the Game would be mostly the same

Wow. This fan game gave an extremely well made reimagining of the METTATON NEO fight instead of just being a one shot it actually uses the yellow soul in a d!I lush yet smart way in the latter half of the health bar. Also making the 9 Defense be 80 was kinda smart to hint this isn’t like in the original.
In case, you didn't know about the final GB Undertale boss, that's Disbelief Papyrus, how he was born as an AU is interesting, when Papyrus expressed how he felt to Frisk and decided to help him. Frisk attacked Papyrus only to realize that they killed Sans instead of Papyrus, when Sans turned into dust, Papyrus took Sans' jacket and wears it and he runs away, then the genocide route plays like normal until Frisk visits Papyrus at the last corridor who doesn't believe about Frisk ever changing.
This... might be my favorite Disbelief version ever. Like not only because of how it sticks to undertale rules, or just how it is hard but not bullet hell, but because of Papyrus depiction. It only makes sense he would hate human at this point, it only make sense that he will give it his all, not just keeping temper of Royal Guard... but in the end he is still normal monster, fragile being. Not hiden god of hyperbones or something, its just ruined Papyrus trying to do something, anything at this point, and that ending. Oh god ending is even more depressing with it, noone came to save him, nothing stoped human's attacks... here Papyrus is left all alone, without any hope or will to fight, biggest mercy is stoping his suffering, as Merg said "mercy" at this point is just cruel. It hits very hard, and right at heart without feeling of overdose as in actually any other version Truly the best Disbelief version
Also it kinda Made more sense Papyrus not getting crazy stat buffs he still had normal papyrus's 20 attack 20 defense and 680 HP he just fights smarter In the original disbelief he had like what ? At Best a day while the genocide route was happening and he suddently already trained to the point of out of sheer desperation and beliving in himself he just went 9999 attack 9999 defense also sans's Ghost is here ( also undyne) but wait they were not real SO PAPYRUS LEARNED ALL THEIR ATTACKS IN A DAY

i remember the time i beat undyne. it was all kind of adrenaline and excitement of beating the second to hardest boss of the game. then i gave up on sans, but i at least beat undyne
MERG! You have to try Will You Snail, a platformer that doesn't have anything to do with undertale or deltarune, but it's amazing and super well done by an indie dev.

That being said, in case you missed my comment on your last video, I re-balenced my undyne to be slightly less overpowered, but they are no doubt still a challenge and a half.

Welp, that was obvious that Merg will release a genocide bosses play through. Nonetheless, very good fan game and the video itself By the way, the Disbelief Papyrus fight is entirely new, there’s so much new attacks and a new dialog. For me, this fight was one of the coolest, but I never understood why Papyrus is so different from the beginning of the game. We know for a fact that monsters can transform or gain new abilities from emotions, but like dude, he does about 15 damage per bone, when in Undertale he only does about 2 damage (not including that player has the locket at the end, and in Undertale player onlly has manly bandanna). And in og version of Disbelief fight he even uses orange bones, which he never uses in Undertale. And I don’t even wanna talk about the 3 phases that come after it. But game boy version makes it more canon I guess by completely removing the next 3 phases, which I’m happy about
Actually, Papyrus in Undertale ignores your defence and always deals you 3 HP. (I tested it with Flowey's time machine. Even the genocide Locket didn't lessen his damage)
I know this is a year later, lol, but I just stumbled on this so I thought I’d explain why Papyrus does so much damage in the Disbelief fight: That’s literally just how the stat calculation works. Seriously. In Undertale, the stats displayed in the CHECK options are fake. In the code, Papyrus only has 8 ATK and 2 DEF. For the Disbelief fight, I literally just gave him 20 ATK, and that’s how much damage he did after defence calculation on the players side.
Fun fact on the undyne fight with the golden arrows if you pay enough attention to detail the golden arrows have a different texture than the regular ones
Really cool that this fangame gave MTT NEO an actual fight. Also, Max, maybe you could check out a game called Tunic? It’s a Metroidvania focused on exploration and combat which I think you’d enjoy a lot

Wow. This fan game gave an extremely well made reimagining of the METTATON NEO fight instead of just being a one shot it actually uses the yellow soul in a d!I lush yet smart way in the latter half of the health bar. Also making the 9 Defense be 80 was kinda smart to hint this isn’t like in the original.
The mettaton neo fight was amazing! Didn't expect them to use that one concept that Toby(?) made!

In case, you didn't know about the final GB Undertale boss, that's Disbelief Papyrus, how he was born as an AU is interesting, when Papyrus expressed how he felt to Frisk and decided to help him. Frisk attacked Papyrus only to realize that they killed Sans instead of Papyrus, when Sans turned into dust, Papyrus took Sans' jacket and wears it and he runs away, then the genocide route plays like normal until Frisk visits Papyrus at the last corridor who doesn't believe about Frisk ever changing.
This... might be my favorite Disbelief version ever. Like not only because of how it sticks to undertale rules, or just how it is hard but not bullet hell, but because of Papyrus depiction. It only makes sense he would hate human at this point, it only make sense that he will give it his all, not just keeping temper of Royal Guard... but in the end he is still normal monster, fragile being. Not hiden god of hyperbones or something, its just ruined Papyrus trying to do something, anything at this point, and that ending. Oh god ending is even more depressing with it, noone came to save him, nothing stoped human's attacks... here Papyrus is left all alone, without any hope or will to fight, biggest mercy is stoping his suffering, as Merg said "mercy" at this point is just cruel.
It hits very hard, and right at heart without feeling of overdose as in actually any other version

Also it kinda Made more sense Papyrus not getting crazy stat buffs he still had normal papyrus's 20 attack 20 defense and 680 HP he just fights smarter

At Best a day while the genocide route was happening and he suddently already trained to the point of out of sheer desperation and beliving in himself he just went 9999 attack 9999 defense also sans's Ghost is here ( also undyne) but wait they were not real SO PAPYRUS LEARNED ALL THEIR ATTACKS IN A DAY

As I like that idea it never made any sense, especialy with Paps
And the dialogue in this fight is based on the original incarnation of disbelief papyrus's fight, before Flames took control of the AU. It makes me enjoy Flame's version less knowing a better more grounded version of the fight was sitting under his take.

Welp, that was obvious that Merg will release a genocide bosses play through. Nonetheless, very good fan game and the video itself
By the way, the Disbelief Papyrus fight is entirely new, there’s so much new attacks and a new dialog.
For me, this fight was one of the coolest, but I never understood why Papyrus is so different from the beginning of the game. We know for a fact that monsters can transform or gain new abilities from emotions, but like dude, he does about 15 damage per bone, when in Undertale he only does about 2 damage (not including that player has the locket at the end, and in Undertale player onlly has manly bandanna). And in og version of Disbelief fight he even uses orange bones, which he never uses in Undertale. And I don’t even wanna talk about the 3 phases that come after it. But game boy version makes it more canon I guess by completely removing the next 3 phases, which I’m happy about

Actually, Papyrus in Undertale ignores your defence and always deals you 3 HP. (I tested it with Flowey's time machine. Even the genocide Locket didn't lessen his damage)

I know this is a year later, lol, but I just stumbled on this so I thought I’d explain why Papyrus does so much damage in the Disbelief fight:
That’s literally just how the stat calculation works.
Seriously. In Undertale, the stats displayed in the CHECK options are fake. In the code, Papyrus only has 8 ATK and 2 DEF.
For the Disbelief fight, I literally just gave him 20 ATK, and that’s how much damage he did after defence calculation on the players side.

Fun fact on the undyne fight with the golden arrows if you pay enough attention to detail the golden arrows have a different texture than the regular ones
