First, to all those that say she sounds like Anastasia; let me correct you - Anastasia sounds like her, Taylor Dayne was around way before Anastasia came into the music scene. However, in her own right, Anastasia can belt out a song too but there is only one Taylor Dayne. Secondly, for someone in her early 50s, Taylor can still belt out her songs as if she was still in her early 20s. That's talent and a woman who knows how to take care of her voice.

I saw her perform this past Sunday here in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She opened with this song! I had to tell her I used to do this song ALL THE TIME when I first started karaokeing 20 years ago and she had the biggest smile on her face. I got to meet her after she finished and as I was leaving Sunday, I looked at her and said, “YOU CAN STILL WAIL”. She was so pleasant to be in front of!

I had the great pleasure of meeting Ms Dayne on her tour bus way back in '89. She was such a gracious host. My bff had cut her honeymoon short so we could attend the concert. Ms Dayne jokingly told Lisa that she'd write a song for her when she got a divorce. 😂They did 20 yrs later but no song was written!
