    Seth Littrell wasn’t the TE’s coach.. he was support staff. Finley has been the TE’s coach at OU for the last couple of years.

    Seth Littrell was an analyst at OU. He worked with QBs. Joe Jon was the TE coach already but now will be a co offensive coordinator with Littrell.

    Littrell was running back for a wing t offense in HS. Interesting to see he kept pieces of it. I played against them and our team couldn’t deal with it. He probably had over 300 yards that game😂🤦‍♂️. I played offense but it was the most embarrassing game I ever played in. Really excited about offense. This film showed a lot of creativity and variety. Hope we can get away from the heavy RPO we ran against Arizona. Great video.

      Awesome idk if ya ever heard of Travis Stephens he played at Tennessee but against us in high school and I'm not exaggerating he had 14 carries 336 yards rushingand.......8 tds......yes we sucked but man he was fast and strong af in high-school

      I haven’t heard of him but it sounds similar to our game. We were a good but not great team. In that game Seth had 2 touchdowns on his first 2 carries. It was ugly. Our defense had no clue where the ball was (understatement). Apparently our defense coordinator had never heard of wing t let alone had any idea of how to stop it.
      Interestingly though after our game with them teams cracked the code and became proficient at shutting it down.

      @@dradhdtulsagotta attack the pulling guards. If you throw them off the timing of everyone else gets thrown off lol a few years too late but that's how ya stop a wing T tell Dlineman to follow the guards or attack the guards if they are pulling towards you and it will throw off everything.

    Seth was a fullback at OU out of Muskogee, Oklahoma in the late 90's and the early 2000's. Seth was a direct Mike Leach disciple at Texas Tech.

    One of the things I think is being overlooked about Littrell will be his ability to still recruit in Texas.
    I also like how Venables already had him on staff and allowed him some familiarity with the players, so when Lebby departed, Littrell could transition to OC smoothly. It’s gunna be fun watching his offense for years to come. B🔴⚪️MER!

    Great breakdown. Sure looks like Seth likes having a trips setup. Lebby did this too to some extent. As long as he didn't learn Lebby's propensity for the jet sweep.

    i like that BV is promoting from within and also bringing in guys that played at Ou.. idk about other fans but i want players that dreamed as a kid to play at Ou not really into kids from other states that would play wherever the biggest bag is!

    I don't think Littrell is going to have any good blocking TE's to do some of that stuff.
    But, given how bad our o-line could possibly be this year, I don't doubt that they'll be trying it.. I know I saw one play in the spring game where the TE completely whiffed on a block.

    Great content and analysis(****) Seth Luttrell did a lot with lightly recruited quarterbacks. It will be interesting to see how he does with OUs talent on offense, quarterback. and receiver.

    I really hope Littrell is actually balance and not just gonna throw it 60 times a game and run it 5-6 times a game. Our rb room is deep and has tons of talent and needs to be a weapon.

    • @jazzwatts839
      @jazzwatts839 11 месяцев назад

      Whatever it takes to win the game, do it!! But with his offense, the defense will have to allow OU to run with those splits, you can't leave those receivers open either, what do ya do? Lol it's about to get scary!!

    • @jazzwatts839
      @jazzwatts839 11 месяцев назад +1

      Pay attention to the oline, that's why this offense will be perfect for the situation 👍🏾

    • @Dkertv
      @Dkertv 11 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah we will not win games throwing it 60 times like the bowl game. When we are running it that we'll, we got to keep it on the ground more

    Seth didn’t put anyone or anything in “conflict”. No defense was worried about a SL offense. The only thing in “conflict” was his offense. You might want to take down this video.

    I think our offense will drop off statistically (outside of the run game). I don't think Littrell will be great, like recent years. He'll probably be okay-ish, depending on how our o-line and QB perform.. Idk. He might also no live up to our expected standard.
    But, I have no clue how we were even ranked as high as we were on offense last year. Because our run game was the worst I can personally remember, and there were multiple games where it seemed like the offense couldn't get anything going. And lots of 3-and-outs.
