Don't know if it means anything, but Kouki's last name Yukishiro translates to snow white and her supernatural ability seems to summon little humanoids with pointed hats. She's also wearing a bow headband in her childhood flashback, resembling Snow White's depiction in the disney film.

Other things to point out. Girl to the right of her at 3:55 when she is holding the trophy as a child is Aira. It matches her flashback kid hair exactly. Her last name Yukishiro (snow white) probably a nod to the little dwarves she'll probably have as a power.
I do worry about the cast bloat though. They are all great in their own way and I want them to get screentime. I assumed Zuma was the last member of the "gang". It's confirmed he will be in since he appears in the popularity poll listing right before Seiko like the rest of the crew. aBut then they introduce this girl. Of course, there were nine buddhas in the mandala for dandadan, so maybe Momo is like the center buddha and the rest of the gang are small buddhas.
I think it's just a coincidence, I don't remember Aira being a musical prodigy
Kouki doesn't nessicarily have to join the group. If aira's actually in the flashback it might lead to a confrontation between the 2 that leads to development for both of them. Momo had friends outside of the main group. Kouki can be aira's.
Ok now I imagine the last arc is becoming Avengers Endgame which every side characters come back and help fighting the big boss.
@@suthipankartanyoo8958 maybe but there is no confirmation we are on the last arc and there are still lots of plot points not touched on yet like the subterraneans or whatever god granny seiko worships. I bet we got at least 100 or more chapters
So I had a dream where a kung fu monk wears a wooden crate of shame over his head and is inside another wooden crate
for his body and was a living practice dummy but then becomes a total bad ass doing flips and shit wearing the box armor and never talking.
Looks like one of those Miss Aira and That Summerian girl situation, she might fell for Okarun and Miss Ayase will get jealous again XD
I hope not. But it is a recurring thing that most of their new friends end up with a crush on Ayase or Okarun.

Am i the only one thst thought it was strange how okarun got an entire chapter dedicated to him or atleast a good portion of it dedicated on how he is a pro athlete and then some but in this chapter somehow both Aira and jiji was consistently ahead of him and u can argue jiji infront cuz he has to cut her off but how do u explain aira who is def slower(especially since she didnt use her powers) is ahead of him and how kouki was so far ahead of the group even tho okarun can cover 50 meters in less than 7 seconds.Might just be he aint rlly tryna but idk
I also found that a little odd - tbf tho, okarun could be overthinking/not wanting to run into his friends - or it could be he wants them as close as possible due to him not having powers and not knowing what this girl may be capable of.
@@dbpages6327 valid. Okarun has always been pretty smart and even though he has more muscles and confidence, still doesnt erase his awarness. He isnt blind to the fact he is more vulnerable and a potencial weak chain in the grouph
@@fernandoreimpell2818 i don't think that is entirely the case because at the end of the chapter when Aira and him head to the home economics classroom to confront Kouki he tells her to get behind him and enters the classroom first because he does realize that while he is now weaker than the others without his powers, he does have the advantage of not being affected by the power stealing knife because he doesn't have powers anymore and could shield Aira from being hit with the knife and having her powers stolen

As much as I sympathize with her back story I hope they don't recruit her. I think the ship is already too full and we are starting to see the cracks, some characters are getting shoved into the background e.g. Aira, Jiji and especially Rin who is just so bland,
It's getting predictable and one thing I loved about Dandadan is how unpredictable it was. Otherwise 8/10 chapter, loved it ❤
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who is feeling this way. Seven is enough. I honestly didn’t want them recruiting that nerdy fat kid.
