He reviews the game more like an outside expert & fan ... takes balls to be this open & honest when you’re in charge.
He is telling too much
Yeah, I admire him, great interview, im really surprised - as someone said above: very refreshing
@OinkOink that the reason why norwich played that high tempo

His subs weren't great either
It’s mckenas fault he shouldn’t even be at the club
Well said
@@unitedfan1364 yes bro
Awful, we were lucky. Such sloppy passed and our players a few, looked like they weren't bothered once they lost the ball. Lucky win and 3 points. But embarrassing
Love Ralf for breaking down the game - weak areas and potential with detail and clarity. Hope the players back him and support his vision 🙏🙏
Utd have some players that need to wake up or be shown the door. They react slowly and make poor decisions. We also need to work on our passing. Some of it was terrible today. I heard Ralf has in the past used special training machines to improve the decision making and passing. He'll need to do that here.

@@sdemosi hoping to see progress sooner than later. This run of games can seal our top 4 destiny - we can't afford to slack anymore
Yeah this show that he know what he trying to do..
We have so many primadonnas in our team, that they rather throw another manager under the bus than look at their blingy mirrors.
I think Ralf is perfect for the job so far. He has an old school class style of discipline which is heavily lacking in football these days
Agree 100%, no sugar coating, he looks like he gonna rip that dressing room after that poor performance
Not a great performance but we move! Let's back this guy because he is a genius!
Very much

Physicality influenced the tempo which caused the passing inaccuracy. Poor decisions in the final third could have cost us the game. Loved how he brought up how important winning the second ball was. We need to win more midfield battles.
Hells yes! All I could focus on was the fact that Norwich seemed to be winning EVERY second ball. That's how lazy some of our movement was.
Renato Sanches would have dominated the whole Norwich midfield by himself. Wolves and City might sign him soon though
our midfield is overrated, team B plays much better than this
Rashford was a beast yesterday but a little bit confused when they get into final third the 2 no. 10 were also confused but instead of penalty just header placement is needed but that simmons ruined it🥲
Says a lot when Maguire is the captain tho. He isn’t a fighter and it transcends round the team.
He speaks factos 🥰 keep pushing Man Utd 🔥

I didn’t think that objective and accurate assessments could feel like such breaths of fresh air lol. Finally someone in charge that is in touch with reality.
You can tell Ralf is fuming and can't wait to rip this team up his demeanour has changed since match one he knows some of those players do not and can not fit in his desired way of playing his tactics and the game of football in the right way, Dalot looks like a starter to me he will get roasted and yellows sometimes because he is proactive and gutsy im okay with that, rashford has hit a wall somewhere mentally
Because that McKenna is still whispering to him during matches and influencing him towards the Ole way !
You know who was the last United manager to point out issues like intensity and body language? Jose Mourinho. The last 3 years we only hear "belief", "DNA", and "we work hard at training" from Mr. Inshaallah Vibes.
Yeah. He needs to start Greenwood instead of Rashford
@@captaincool197 spot on..
RR mus know by now that Mckenna useless asf
For all those who criticized Ole, we can see now the struggle “again” which was there with Jose and even before. A major factor of our problem is the motivation and habits of the players. There is no quick fix. It will take time.
One guy of his team is a sport psychologist or "mental coach" so he definetly is going to work on it. It is weird that united did not have a sport psychologist before by the way. Most teams have one or more.
But as you said teamwork and motivation can not be achived by talking about it they have to life it on the pitch and in every training session. And that needs time and pedagogical/psychological work.
We won that what matters
Ole would have lost this match hands down
But at least Ralf wins, unlike Olé 💁🏽♂️
Exactly Ronaldo too said same in his pl interview about the players these days and their mentality
Watched Conte's Spurs vs Norwich at home and already seen what they were capable of with Dean Smith at the wheel. Dean Smith midfield pressing game is for all to see. If United were lucky away than Spurs is even more so at home. Job done and move on to Brentford. Expecting more of the same though game wise, hopefully another win.
Should have brought on Greenwood for Rashford.. And VDB for bruno

No man with norwich you can play like that and win 1:0 but city for example would smach us
Can't give anyone credit for that group stage apart from Ronaldo. Name me 1 game out of the 6 in which we were the better side ? Lol
What a joke.
We've had quite a few bad performances over the years at Norwich or Ipswich. Paddy used to complain about how it takes about 6.5 hours to get there by coach as a big part of the reason, which sounds silly but if you think about it less so
thanks for the insight, i was wondering why there was such a drop in performance and this probably might be one of the reasons why
The awful weather also not helping the team to playing effective football as a group. That's why Ralf stressed about the physical battle instead of technical which is vital in this type match.
De gea also said something about weather..maybe it could be the reason
It's MANCHESTER united. No team that plays and trains in Manchester is at a disadvantage for playing in the rain
shocking performance
Manchester united my team 🔥 🔥 💕 more supportive in kenya keep on winning
A 45 minute training session before the Palace game made us look so much better. Pressing and winning the ball back etc etc. After a whole week of training I was looking forward to a big progression. Instead what we got was a colossal regression
He is saying the exact feedback what we did today.. clear communicator
I could listen to him all day. Knows the game so well
Today's performance was a step down from the Palace game. I don't know why we were so lacking in energy considering we had a week to rest. We didn't even press today.
Because I imagine he has beasted them in training this week...getting them up to speed on his formation (pressing etc..)
@Di Roy Sama : Remember Klopp with Liverpool, it took him time to implement the "Gegenpressing", the performances were up and down. So, we should be a little patient with Ralf, the man is a genius, he knows what he is doing, and as he said, he can not turn them into pressing monsters after just some days or weeks of training...
@@jamesalder611 I hope that’s what it was cause they were terrible
Ronaldo the🐐👑
Because Ragnick actually sucks as a manager and Carrick was building momentum with the team
Love the way he analyzes the game. Proper coach imo
A bit surprised how no reporter asked about the substitution. Sancho coming off before Rashy was a bit bizarre
Sancho was poor Marcus played well , that's your reason .....
@@PhilipKerry you were clearly watching a different Match then
@@PhilipKerry not sure what game you were watching, Rashford was terrible. Couldn't hold on to the ball, wayward passing, when he did pass it was mainly backwards, was useless trying to take on players, apart from one or two attempts and when he lost the ball he just walked back, didn't care about trying to win it back. Both him and Sancho should have been taken off after about 10 mins of the second half, forgot Sancho was even playing at times
Well I saw rashford passed the almost winning goal to Ronaldo but it didn’t went in
@@melvintan6019 well for a start, we were already winning, so wouldn't be the winning goal. But he messed that simple pass up as well, playing it behind Ronaldo, but even if Ronnie had scored it, one simple pass doesn't cancel out the other crap he did in the game
So honest in his assessment of the game. No garbage about fine margins etc. He knows what he wants. I hope the club back him properly.
I love how he called out some players in the offensive side, which was really a big disapointment
Weak Manager creates HARD times, Hard times need Ralf to create again Great times. this man is the perfekt fit for Man U. Jsut give him time and back him up.

His method will take time, and I mean Feb, before we see a real Ralph type "GAME", players have had 3 years of one system, so they need to adjust and get their fitness levels up, this does not happen overnight, BUT BUT BUT, if we can just get the results to stay with the top 4, until we start to have Ralphs "muscle-memory" then it will see great "sustainable" improvement.
I think he should bench Bruno for DVB and bench Rashford for Greenwood.
Bruno and Rashford contributed on Ole sacking becoz he couldn't drop them and they have underperformed for months now.
Ralph should not repeat the mistake.
Ole just wants to play his favourites, he deserves to be sacked no matter what. But yes Bruno and Rashford should be dropped for abit agree
Agree
Ralf is a great communicator
I still cant understand Sancho being the first to come off. Will be interesting to see the team for Brentford. Obvious that Greenwood comes in, but Bruno Rashford and Ronaldo all had awful games
Hopefully Cavani would be available
@@jamespark3134 Ye hopefully, he might add some of the energy and intensity we lacked today
the formation doesnt work in the prem. he got overworked cause he was the only creative outlet cause bruno has no positional awareness and gives the ball away 6/10 times, 3/10 times his pass is just off and 1/10 times he creates a chance if that.
Bruno has been poor sometime totally different to last year he should be dropped for vdb
Bruno and rashford were worst than ronaldo
That assist by Scotty for the penalty was mint.

he knows about our weakness and have a solution about that . that enough for me. cant wait to see what this team will be after he fix all the weakness .i hope he get the support from the players so their can improve because this guy talk about facts about our team right now.

I like the way he specifically points to problems, basically saying the front 4 were lazy.
I found that Rashford was particularly bad. It's like he's turned into Martial, slowing down the game trying to take on 3-4 players at once, and then jogging around like a 60 year old woman after he loses the ball.
Maybe he's trying to "conserve his energy" like Ronaldo does, but if that's what he's doing it's definitely not working.
He know exactly what to improve and that's the important thing. Because finally we're not only " We're gonna bounce back" Team anymore and that's makes me happy
Great stuff here! We dropped a rap explaining Rangnick's background recently! Excellent manager to have at United right now 🔥

If you keep a clean sheet you need just one goal to win
No wonder Martial wants to leave when Rashford gets to play no matter how bad he performs.
Martial is injured again I think

Rashford is very loyal, Manchester United needs these, no matter how poor the club’s performance in recent years
He is an absolute genius. Next best manager post Sir Alex... Might be too early to say but looking at his knowledge of the game and analysis, it looks like United players must work hand in hand with this guy to improve.
'Rest' Bruno and Rashy; upgrade with Mason and Donny. Efficiency is key, our German engineer should know!
You’re clueless if you think Bruno is a problem. Have some respect/perspective.
❤❤GGMU
On the other hand, it felt like Ole was in charge. Players need to buy into the new style!!
That's a bad way to look at it mate, Ole wasn't the only problem, there's still perhaps five players bothering our first team that I believe don't have the balls to wear our jersey.....Ralf will have them all exposed and hopefully gone by the start of next season.

As a fanbase any chance we can stop comparing the manager to Ole, it's unfair on both and an insult to Ole ( a club legend ) to be kicking the man still. Ralf's mint.
In every clubs Ralf manage or oversee their operation as a DOF, he always have 2 or 3 athletic trainers that help built the physicality side of the players. United fans should expect 1 or 2 addition of this type of appointment in the future cause obviously these players needs that coaching.

So why no progress
@@tayzk5929 progress takes time dude what do you expect in less than two weeks. He can't make this team a world beater. Wait for few months and then see
@@tayzk5929 Rangnick knows what he is doing. Progress will come as soon as he starts dealing with a few prima donnas and show ponnies. These players have not been coached properly for three years!! If Ole was still the manager against Norwich, it would have been a loss.
Ronaldo the🐐👑
Norwich's main tactic in this game is to widen both sidebacks to develop the attack, and Rangnick did not try to put a lot of physical burden on the players in consideration of Boxing Day. So the intensity of pressure was clearly different from the last match against Palace. Norwich had a numerical advantage over Manchester United in the midfield with 4141 tactics. Therefore, Fred, McTo alone were pushed out of the midfield fight and needed Sancho and Bruno's support. So coach Rangnick switches to 4231 form to increase our influence in the midfield by putting in Greenwood without Sancho, who had a lot of physical difficulties even though he showed the best performance in the second half. In order to prevent Norwich from overlapping both sidebacks, Rashford and Greenwood were placed on the side to strengthen side attacks and attach interpersonal marks. That's why Rangnick had no choice but to use Rashford and Bruno, whose form was very bad.

At this point in time. The win isn't important,........ its how we play. I wanna see nice goals and beautiful football
Nope. At this point in time, the win is absolutely more important until Ralf's system starts taking effect. If we keep losing before that happens, we will fall way behind.

Two clean sheets in a row with 6 points is improvement its a work on progress they will come on in time we went 14 games once without a clean sheet under ole
Absolute shambles of game. Defensive side was class. But as he mentioned not enough pressing from offensive side and ball possession. It’s like we forget how to play when we get to the box especially rashy. But again, new manager, new formation, new tactics should take time for the team to get used to. Interesting formation tho I have to say, hope it works out for us.
