John Behr, i thank you. You've inspired me, as a student theology in the Netherlands, in first of all Ireneaus and second to study more in the subject of the eastern orthodox Church and his systematic theology teachings.
God bless you and your work!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this amazing exposition of the nature of Christ and our death through Christ. Remarkable lecture. Again, thank you.

What Fr. John Behr seems to be suggesting is to accept when unavoidable suffering and death comes our way and to do so in spirit of love rather than grumble because in Christ our Saviour we have the hope of true life to come.
Or in other words, we live this present, biological life that is prone to sin, suffering and death in such a way that we seek to alleviate pain and to multiply the good in this world and thus serve and glorify God who is the source of our life and the giver of all that is good and holy, thereby we are united with Christ who did the same as a human being and as God is the one who brought us True Life which is untouched by sin, evil, infirmity and corruptibility.

I finally understand what you meant by " we have become a cancerous society". Like literally a cancerous people because we refuse to die. Yikes. Paradigm shift so hard my neck hurts.

His wife promotes Harry Potter (see my video). It seems like the more credentialed they are, the more deluded they become. These people have little discernment.

Would you like expound on that? All you did in those two sentences was to hurl insults. What is the substance of your objection?

I know people have differences of opinion about Harry Potter and whether the story is beneficial for kids or not, but it seems like a minor issue to me. Is that why you think Fr. John is deluded?
