Do you have any tips for rapidly picking out the right target to lock on to from first person view? Sometimes locking an aircraft shelter or IR SAM site among all the other contacts can be a challenge.
You can use the map to select targets, also the weapon type determines what you will select first, so A2A missiles will select planes first in the cluster of targets, bombs will select buildings/tanks
We need way more tutorial style videos on how to use all the aircraft. For someone coming from more casual backgrounds like Ace Combat, it can still feel like a good step up despite it not being DCS complex. Breakdowns of the aircraft like past videos and talking about the effect ways to utilizing them would be fantastic imo
Loved that mission. Only issue was that shelter taking damage weirdly. One time I dropped on it like couple of tonnes of various bombs with no effect, but in other attempt to play it it was taken out by a wingman with a cannon xD Also bombs still tend to skim off the land from time to time, jumping away from target
Love this update, totally refreshed the game and the money system buffed the cricket and encouraged teamwork! Unfortunately it kinda broke cruise missiles, still overall W update
Mitch beat it in this video, so it's possible. In my opinion it's a pretty easy mission as long as you open up with AGM-68s and avoid getting too close to enemy aircraft.

I have wanted a CCIP mode for bombs ever since I first saw a bomb being dropped in this game.

Oh I was struggling so hard on this mission, I hadn't even thought about lobbing my bombs. It's crazy how much detail is in this game

Same as landing on the airstrip. Use VTOL mode, touch down with about 50kts speed, and lock up your breaks.

Impossible? I'd say it's easy, even. Quick, easy and fun.
IRs are the easiest missile type to counter.
