- With the Esports World Cup underway, some gamers have voiced concern over it taking place in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
But CEO of the event, Ralf Reichert has promised fans that "everyone is welcome" but "in every country in the world, there are different local habits and cultural norms which you need to adhere of."

@@shadowrulezzz i didnt mention the saudis because it's not just them that have this attitude. but as an example of exactly the type of thing i'm talking about happening, in the UK we have a strong pub culture it's really just a part of who we are as a contry, and NO you dont have to drink alcohol, we eat in pub and socialise in them. but i know for a fact that suring the 2012 olympics held in london that a number of people from many differant contries where invited to go out for food but a number of contries didnt allow their participants to go if that food was served in a pub because there was alcohol in said locations. so dont say that i'm just ignorant when it's you that does not know of examples where other contries are not following the local cultures BECAUSE it's against THIER culture.
