I dropped my ID card in there. Thank you for this video. When I got it out, I did not need to mess with the 6 screws in the back though. I just did the 4 bolts and it lifted up no problem.

I know this is a year later but I really need to know because I lost my SIM card underneath the emergency break. There is a connector on the very back of this console is it okay to disconnect it? 2010 Nissan Sentra

I dropped my ID down mine and guess what? As a bonus I found a Mont Blanc pen that I thought somebody stole. I basically came up 200 bucks just from the pen, and was in and out in 10 minutes. Really no need to fiddle with the 6 Phillips head screws unless you are going to do some serious deep cleaning.
