I'm getting too many signs that I should wear the hijab
EDIT: Thank you all for your kind words and support. It has really boosted my confidence and I'm on an action plan to wear the hijab full time inshAllah. My advise to anyone who's thinking about wearing the hijab is to make the changes necessary to get there like dressing more modestly for example. Thanks once again.

I use to wear modern clothes , like long shirt and wide pants with regular hijab, like shayla, which is not really the proper Islamic hijab, Then I started to wear regular jilbab or Abaya with abig hijab that covers hallf of my body. At that time I was feeling so good, but I kept praying for Allah to show my the right path and to help me wearing the Hijab that pleases himسبحانه وتعالى and then I kept thinking about niqab but the hard thing for me was living in a western country, but finally in 2016 I started wearing niqab and I love so much Alhamdolilah, And I feel that I am reborn.
This video like came out on the perfect time. I literally just started wearing the hijab. Mashallah. Allah (SWT) is the greatest planner.
Edit : Thank you everyone for all the love and support. Alhamdulillah my hijab makes me feel confident. I love you all my muslim brothers and sisters. I know that sometimes there are hardships in life we all face but remember that with Hardship there is ease. Be patient. Lots of love. Also Ramadan Mubarak! ✨✨✨

When I started wearing the headscarf a few years ago, I actually believe I started to look more attractive as I was maturing and my hair looked better. Despite this, Alhamdulillah I never took it off! Allah (SWT) was testing me and still is!

I pray everyday for Allah's forgiveness. I struggle alot when it comes to dressing because I was for a long time raised as a Christian even though I'm a born Muslim. This is what happens when you're an orphan, one can't choose how they are raised.
I feel very beautiful and safe when I wear my long loose dress and hijab but when I dress differently, I end up attracting the wrong company because of my body.
I pray that dressing becomes easier for me and I don't have to fight with myself trying to figure out what to wear

You can wear a head covering in Christianity - I have many Christian friends that do. I know it may seem unusual to some - usually , they are those in the Hebrew Roots or Messianic community of believers wanting to live as first followers of Messiah Yeshua did . I wear one during worship services & often in public & dress very modestly. God bless you sister .

I never felt comfortable in clothes that reveal any way and seeing its mention in quran gives me happiness. I really like to wear covered clothes because i feel the most secure and comfortable and confident while wearing it. 😊

This video appeared just in time. I moved to the United States three years ago and I stopped wearing the niqab, but Alhamdillah, I went back to wearing it and cover my face and my body. I feel comfortable .

He mentions “comfort”… before I Revert, if I dressed immodest, I was UNcomfortable in TWO ways: I felt very self-conscious (and self-conscious of every bulge, roll, bruise, & wrinkle - even when I was young and all those things were just in my head!); AND the clothing itself was physically uncomfortable- too tight, too itchy, seams, keep shifting! Not too mention all of those things are VERY irritating to someone who is Neurodivergent!!!

Without the hijab I feel like a dog with no fur LOL. I haven’t started wearing it fully yet, but I’m going to soon, I don’t even like the people I wanna please, why should I waste my time on them, they’ll bicker whether I show them my looks or whether I hide them 😂 the racial slurs are coming from people who are angry at the world, I don’t like them, so why should I avoid the hijab to please their miserable self? I'm glad you have spoken about this...I live in the uk and daily I see people wearing hijab with tight clothes and 3 quarter pants on....so they have covered their hair but show their legs instead...it makes me so angry that people who wear a hijab properly are also mocked because of the actions of some...modesty sure is the best way....alhamdulilah for Islam, which teaches the best
In asian countries ,the whole situation is underated as there r muslims by name but wearing casual cloths of revealing hair, hands upon the arm and even short that are up knee for mans...this is a great view to be called muslims but hippocrates....alas!!!

Can you please, talk about over priced modest clothing business.They make very complicated for students to shop.
Whilst I ageee it’s overpriced, when it comes to clothes that are very cheap ethics are left out. Here in the UK primark is extremely cheap, and even sites like SHEIN but the people working in the factories are in awful conditions, hardly given a living wage etc. It’s a tough problem to fix because shops that are ethical (and transparent about their production) are super expensive and hard to afford :(

An important lesson in Sahih Muslim 2698 was given by the Prophet (ﷺ).
The Prophet said, “Is one of you unable to earn one thousand hasanahs [good deeds] every day?” Amongst those who were sitting, one asked “How can one of us earn one thousand hasanahs?
He responded: “By saying one hundred tasbeehs; one thousand hasanahs will be recorded for him, or one thousand vices will be blotted from his record.”
100 praises = 1000 reward.

I really wanna change myself but It's so hard especially In this sort of society where people judge you for anything, I know that's not an excuse at all but I have noticed myself changing a little with wearing less revealing clothes but I am trying and Inshallah I will also start wearing the Hijab :*)
The hijab is something to stay committed to so it might be a big change to embrace it for the first time. Don't let anyone belittle you for hesitating, but also don't let it stop you from doing what your heart tells you♡ I'm in a similar journey and I hope we reach the same destination :)

Take it in steps! Try to start dressing more modestly in terms of clothes (eg if not already longer tops that cover your thighs and rear end, long cardis etc) and then once you get used to that and slowly build up a wardrobe you look at covering your hair. Everything done all at once can be hard to adapt to

When I wasn't wearing the hijab I still dressed modestly and in loose clothing that doesn't reveal much so wearing the hijab was just the next step, still I was very scared of people's reactions but alhamdoulilah everyone was so happy for me, which also made me realize that I have surrounded myself with the right people. Take it one day at a time, people will judge you no matter what you do, just remember you aren't living for them.
