Yes, I agree that part of riding is making mistakes and falling off. It's very annoying when parents of kids that go to my riding school get all upset when their kid falls off. Then they go flaming after the riding instructor... Maybe if your kid was injured because they were put on a horse they couldn't handle, but otherwise...
Communication between horse and rider can be magical but can also come out of left field once in awhile. I've had amusing times and "What?!?" times. Could be the horse just isn't feeling it that day, could be a thousand reasons...I'm just amazed how much horses tolerate from us with all the different tack and then games/shows and how much they put up with us asking them to do what sometimes seems like crazy things to them I am sure. Horses are soooo patient with humans sometimes, so forgiving too. :) Lovely compilation and yeah, sometimes I really did feel the riders' pain, some days it's just not going as planned. :)
