Well, thanks for dryly reading a disjointed biography to me... why not detail her life events chronologically... why not talk more about her crazy relationship with Johnny Cash... why not talk about what the lyrics of the song Jackson mean... You hooked me with the headline, and i kept waiting for the tragedies. This could have been so much better
I am always appreciative of ACCURATE bio tributes to musicians. This, however, is somewhat off base in several areas, being only directionally correct. The narrator also needs to be familiar with material before committing to the recording. Mispronounced words throughout. Would be a good narrative if the audio was accurately redone. This version is not good.
So you’re gonna write out that entire soliloquy then provide nothing in the way of “specifically” correct information instead of the “directionally” correct things mentioned here? Your only contribution is to say that this bio is not good and that’s that...you see what I’m saying here?
@@manifestgtr Good Morning Sir - First, thank you for reading and responding. I do both see and understand your response and, in hindsight, realize I should have all been more detailed. As a true fan of all versions of the Carter Family and The Cash family, I was dissappointed with the inaccuracies that stood out and it was not narrated or edited well. Some of things I saw included: - Ezra Carter, June's father, is credited as being a country music performer. Ezra was not a performer at any time that I can document, though he did manage later versions of the Carter Family. - The video credits June as being the innovator of the "Carter Scratch" style of guitar. This is inaccurate. Maybelle developed this approach to guitar long before June's birth. Maybelle remains one of my guitar heros and never got the credit for her influence that she deserves. - The narration/editing says that Johnny and June's son's name was "Johnny Carter Cash" - a small inaccuracy but names matter to all of us. His name is JOHN Carter Cash. Then, multiple missprounounced words such as "nuptials", Herdsonville (Hendersonville, Summer County (SUMNER County). All this in a 4-5 video about one of the most influential families in all of country music. I felt like they deserved better. Stay Well and keep your guitar in tune!
Why some ppl have a grudge against June is beyond me she was well known before Johnny came on the scene and if Vivian had her way, Johnny would have remained an applicence salesman as she tried to stifle his ambition after seeing Elvis, so it wasn't June who made him leave her and kids who he loved but herself even Roseanne, Johnny's eldest daughter admits June and Johnny were meant to be together through all the trials and tribulations 🔥
I hear you...Ever since this Vivian documentary came along, some vicious people have come out to say the meaniest things about June Carter a woman they don't even know nor where they there during the time she met Johnny.
I wholeheartedly agree with you ma'am. I don't think cheating on his wife was right and he did treat her badly. But Thousands of people get married and then find out that they have different dreams and different ideas of where they want to go in life, and they blame everybody else but themselves for marrying that person. You have such logic in how you think, I love it. It's difficult to say that even if Johnny had done the right thing and not cheated, that his Marriage could have been ended amicably. His wife didn't sound like she wanted to give up easily, which is the difficulty when one side knows they're incompatible and the other isn't ready to accept it. Sad situation but mistakes happen
@@thepamela050 there is a lot of hatred towards Christians who admit their mistakes, both Johnny and June admitted they made mistakes, so I guess some people want to crucify them for it. @@simonacland9028 there was one memoir " the man in Black" that Johnny wrote Vivian refused to give Johnny a divorce for a long time because she was Catholic. According to him it was in one of their fights over his touring and how he was pursuing the music lifestyle rather than his family. In both of his autobiographies, Johnny felt that Vivian was not so supportive of his career after a while, and they fought more and more. Sounds like Johnny's priorities became different once he became a musician. Sometimes it's hard to say what we will do when we finally achieve a dream we've always had. I mean who would have thought Johnny Cash would become so big so fast? I don't think the small town Arkansas Johnny was prepared for the downsides of Fame. But I agree, the cheating was wrong. I noticed it was a pattern of his before he even met his wife, he would talk about the women that he picked up as a soldier.
Her life sounds rather full and not tragic. I recently watched an interview on RUclips with Johnny Carson. She was a real hoot and lively character. She may have had ups and downs but her faith and character carried her through. We humans are not perfect but our faith in our Creator makes us perfect in the end.
Very true Jane. It seems like a lot of people want a perfect human being and can't handle it when they make mistakes. Making mistakes doesn't make you a bad person. *June loved Johnny Cash. John's first wife Vivian didn't appear to love him. It would be difficult to be married to a musician. They got married because she was pregnant as they did so back in those days.*
Well, if we believe Vivian's story, she did love him. I just don't think Johnny loved her after a while. I think Johnny and June were cute together, but I do feel sorry for vivian. Johnny did hurt her.
According to the documentary "My Darling Vivian" Johnny and Vivian's first child, Roseanne Cash was born after they had been married two years so your comment they married due to her being pregnant does not appear to be accurate. Furthermore all those that knew Vivian say she deeply loved Johnny and was heartbroken by his infidelity.
I don't think it was a tragic ending. She and Johnny loved eachother and where always together. June died 2003 and Johnny, her husband just 4 month later. They went together to heaven the same year and I'm personally looking forward to se them both there one day!
Yeah I don't understand why this guy seems to think they had a tragic ending. Their lives were difficult yes, they made a lot of mistakes but life is difficult. And they weren't sitting at home crying in their beer, they made the best of it and I would say they were happy people overall.

@@patmelton43and? Paul was a murderer of Christians, King David slept with a married woman and killed her husband, Mary Magdeleine was a prostitute, often very good people aren't perfect!
Jesus Christ didn't reject them, so we shouldn't either!!
@patmelton, yes and that was wrong. She had consequences for that. She got divorced, and the years with Johnny weren't always happy. But, Jesus forgives all sins for those who believe in Him. And that means ALL.
You need to be more gracious!
R.I.P. YOU LOVELY LADY/LEGEND.
Don't forget that they both performed with Elvis in the 50's
June and Johnny ♥️
She was also a home wrecker! Don’t forget John was married when she gave it to him. Js.
They were meant to be together.
They had a love you obviously know nothing about.
Such a beautiful woman💖💖🙏 R.I.P.
It was Maybelle Carter, June's mother, who came up with the Carter scratch.
It is given that man should live 70 years 80 if he is strong. Her ending wasn't tragic. Its life. The way of all flesh. I think she had a great life.
She lived far more life than most 70-year-olds, most 70-year-olds I think die with more regret about the things they couldn't t see and do.
Eine wundervolle, grossherzige Frau, die Ihren Jonny über alles geliebt hat
Wait!! June wasn't taught to play guitar by her mother. Someone else taught her. I'm not sure she used the Carter Scratch. Maybelle invented the Carter Scratch. Maybelle and Hellen used it but not sure about June. June told it in an interview..

Vivian died in 2005 she remarried less than a year after divorce to a policeman and lived a happy contented life living as housewife for over 30 years Johnny did not regret marrying June and in his last concert he talked about her constantly Roseanne wrote a eulogy and remarked what a wonderful person she was 😎
That is the trouble with the internet.Everyone to a certain degree acts like no it alls.I can understand an opinion, but some people get out of hand.Do not judge lest you be judged!TomFilipiak
Her ending wasn’t sad. She was married to the man that she loved, Johnny Cash, for 36 years.
Sad ending because she died as a very old woman after living a greay happy exciting life with a man who loved her??
Hi lena how are you doing today
Her passing killed Johnny. True love right there. RIP both.
She broke up a marriage. I will not celebrate her
Well, thanks for dryly reading a disjointed biography to me... why not detail her life events chronologically... why not talk more about her crazy relationship with Johnny Cash... why not talk about what the lyrics of the song Jackson mean... You hooked me with the headline, and i kept waiting for the tragedies. This could have been so much better
June certainly was a STUNNING looking woman ! 💞🥰💞
Yeah, she was quite a fox. I can see why a lot of men liked her 😉
Boo she’s no match for his first wife Vivian
CORRECTION: Mother Maybelle originated the "Carter Scratch" [NOT June]
Any country guitarist knows this
It was actually shown by Jimmie Rodgers to Mother Maybelle who then past it on.
I don‘t believe that Jimmie Rodgers have shown Maybelle the Carter Scratch because he wasn‘t able to play it himself.
Great video! Thank you
-We would like to ask permission to repost this on "My June Carter - vintage Adventures" RUclips channel
Some of things I saw included:
- Ezra Carter, June's father, is credited as being a country music performer.
I agree
The world can't handle a Christian who God forbid is human.
It's important to remember that perfect people do not go to heaven. Forgiven do
Maybe this piece was originally intended to be a story about Johnny Cash’s first wife, Vivian?
Hi Linda how are you. Greetings from California, Good video. Hope you’re safe from the covid. Have a good week and stay safe 😃😘 Scott
No I think it's clickbait. It's meant to make you interested when June really didn't have a tragic life. I mean yes the marriage with Johnny was difficult if you count that as tragic, but all marriages have difficulty. And the fact that they stayed together even through his addiction I would say is a win.
June loved Mississippi but hated it’s small towns. She called them redneck latrines
LOL I can't say I blame her for hating small towns, I've lived in some myself. They were some of the stalest places to live
Carter died in Nashville, Tennessee, on May 15, 2003, at the age of 73, from complications following heart-valve replacement surgery......
Era muito bonita e encantadora.
Cash espertalhão !!
Why do these videos use the word "tragic"? This disrespects the person, and minimises this video's authenticity. Please change this. This video is respectful. Please make the title reflect this.
'Eliza Kazan' … right.
Thanks for the content.

It's worse than a clicbate. It's intentionel demoralisation. It's a need to get out a feeling of hate and a distrust in thaf life can be good and fair too. What beats me is why RUclips haven't got a reporting box named demoralisation. But I expect that to happen when our world has wised up. Again...
Maybelle did the "Carter Scratch" not June
I hate seeing these titles as, “The sad ending of….” Every life that’s ending is sad.

Her comedy routines were an embarrassment to the nation.
The “Walk The Line” movie brought me here. What a beautiful woman from young to old. Blessed. 🙏🏼

Was kinda thinking what the tragedy was.. sounds like she's at peace after a giving life.
I guess the tragedy is that she was a homewrecker.
@@tarabooartarmy3654 his first wife wanted out anyway, love is love but I don't agree with cheating.
Lovedherverymuch
She was a home wrecker wasn’t she?
Her life sounds rather full and not tragic. I recently watched an interview on RUclips with Johnny Carson. She was a real hoot and lively character. She may have had ups and downs but her faith and character carried her through. We humans are not perfect but our faith in our Creator makes us perfect in the end.
Very true Jane. It seems like a lot of people want a perfect human being and can't handle it when they make mistakes.
Making mistakes doesn't make you a bad person. And it doesn't make me love them any less.
In fact, the fact that they were so open and honest about their stumbles makes me appreciate them even more.
I miss that generation, I miss the simpler times with Johnny and June

Sad ending yeah right okay Mr Clickbait…….she died rich and famous…..
❤
Country music lost a amazing couple.....ture love story..
June Carter did not compose the song „Ring of Fire“, her sister Anita wrote the song! Anita had a little hit with this song!
How is living with the love of her life for like 80 years a sad and tragic ending?! She said she lead the life of dreams and was very fortunate for having done so. No tragic ending, except those we lose to old age.. all about getting clicks. Works LOL
June’s passive aggressive attitude and snide remarks towards Johnny’s first wife Vivian were unwarranted and uncalled for. Lost some respect for her because of this.
Hey @getreal, how about you get real about life and realize that people make mistakes? You're not always a good person yourself! Neither am I. Who are you to judge others, you self righteous hypocrite!
she saved Johnny
I have no sympathy for her she was a homewrecker . She stole another woman's husband and did not blink an eye .
Wrong! Johnny cash perused her!!!
Why is “tragic end” in the title, she had a great life and peaceful death
*June loved Johnny Cash. John's first wife Vivian didn't appear to love him. It would be difficult to be married to a musician. They got married because she was pregnant as they did so back in those days.*
False
ruclips.net/video/xhY4MOSvHf0/видео.html
Wrong.
Hey monica how are you doing
👍👍👍
Her parents are music legends as the Carter Family. Their music had a profound impact on bluegrass, country, Southern Gospel, pop and rock musicians as well as on the U.S. folk revival of the 1960s.
Please correct.
Why don't we have Amazing Women like this Modern Day?????? We are stuck with garbage like Taylor Swift and Rihanna. I would do anything to go back in time.
