    I could of given this man nothing and asked him to leave me alone or I could of just given him something. I chose to give him something from me and ask him to help so he may feel like he has accomplished a task like he may of before his days in the streets plus make him feel like he is appreciated by helping me and the community. This bloke is absolutely harmless and a nice guy. What he chooses to do with that money is up to him but I could see a spark in his eye for a few minutes. Keep it classy legends

      You gave him 10 mins of your time in thay time you helped him as he helped you. You spoke to him with dignity and respect 2 things that are sadly lacking in today's society, and for those 10 mins you gave him pride and a sense of respect, amazing community work respect to you I wish others were like you

    You show on social media that people, fall on hard times, and how you offer your services to those that have. This homeless man is no different. You gave this man a purpose, hope to maybe offer someone else his help when he needs to eat. " Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day,.. teach the man to fish, he'll eat for a lifetime." There is a parable about Khoja Nasreddin and a donkey.A case in point is the tale involving Nasreddin’s journey with his son and their donkey.Walking one day beside the donkey, the pair are mocked by passersby for using their feet instead of riding the donkey.
    Hearing their criticism, Nasreddin puts the boy on the donkey but those passing them now have a new complaint; that the youth rides the donkey while his father is forced to walk.
    Ashamed, the boy, asks his father to take his place but that does not stop the critics, who now fault Nasreddin for riding the donkey while the boy walks.
    The pair then decide to ride on the animal together but after a short while the donkey slows due to exhaustion, earning more rebuke from those watching.
    Exasperated, Nasreddin then decides that he and his son will carry the donkey to their destination, thereby teaching the young man the futility of trying to please critics ....)

      @QuestionThingsUseLogic Please give an example of terrible advice coming from the Holy Bible. Let's hear it.

    • @QuestionThingsUseLogic
      @QuestionThingsUseLogic 6 месяцев назад

      @@Rancho.Jimenez"if a man will not work, he shall not eat" Think about those incapacitated, ill, recovering from surgery or sickness, the weak elderly....they should starve according to your bible...
      "And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away.
      Self mutilation is encouraged in your bible. Very bad advice.
      "Give to those that ask" very poor advice. Just give anything to them?
      They will be poor and homeless in no time.
      He said not to have more than two garments, don't prepare for tomorrow etc. No christian either lives this nor believes this poor advice.
      Jesus said he came to divide up families instead of uniting them as god said he would with the new covenant. That's seriously bad! He even told them to not look after their elderly family members. That's terrible advice! He even passed on the care of his mother to a stranger and not her other living sons ??!! He certainly didn't care for the family unit but preferred they grovel at his feet and worship this demigod.
      Then jesus cursed an innocent fig tree. That's a terrible example and shows impatience and vengeance for no reason. He also had 2000 pigs *run 31 miles to the closest shore* and jump in and drown. Why should those innocent pigs have lost their lives for one mad man??
      There is SO much more too.

    People need not judge the homeless instead they need to be helped. I used to be homeless because I left an abusive marriage the man kicked me in the stomach and caused me to miscarry a set of twins but I worked my way out of it. I even slept in the porta potty behind the former gabianos restaurant in san Francisco . Not all homeless people are nuts or drugs and most are veterans who fought for our country
