Gosh, this sounds just like the 1960s: "young adults battle parents"
The balcony - "Bal-coney" as Mom says it, in the second building -- If Dad is so worried about his daughter moving away, and being too young at 25 (lol), then why would he want his daughter to be on ground level of a big condo building where the parking lot and patio are up against each other and flows right into the condo? That "balcony", which is really a patio, is gross. Everything you do on your patio is public. No matter what you do out there, everyone can see and how could you relax out there?
The Third one - hideous. Alex needs to be careful, they might fire her. And, I am wondering if Alexandra and Natalia are girlfriends.
Natalia doesn't seem to understand that the monthly fees downtown are outrageous, and on top of the mortgage payment and on top of utilities...
OH MY GOD, these parents have blown my mind. They're hilarious and amazing. They were getting annoyed by Alex, every time she said anything. And, Alex, this place is not for you. LOL.
Okay, with roommate/friend, I think the parents did good. Downtown in a security building, they are okay, and they are together. They'll be fine.
The only thing I don't like about the downtown condo (in addition to the stupid HOA fees) is the location of entrance to the condo. Open the door and you are right in the kitchen. I hate that. You always want to open the door and either have an foyer/entry space, or entering the home should lead into a living room/common area, but never a kitchen or dining room.
If she was buying it herself and she could afford it, then take it regardless of what her parents think. I think it's a nice starter apartment. Unfortunately, why should parents pay for a place they don't like. The second isn't good because a first floor apartment and open to street. Lucky girl!!!!😊
