I have that same lens, and the 70-200mm f2.8. I use them primarily on a Canon 6D and 80D. The real fun is using an adapter and using them on a little Sony a5000. It's more that you mount the camera on the lens than the lens on the camera. They work though. As I commented on your original 20D video, I just ordered another 20D today to replace the one I gave my son a while back. You have encouraged me to use the 20D with these lenses. Now, if the local pawn shop puts that Canon 100-400mm USMII L on clearance at a great price. Yes, the sickness is real.

I’m looking at the first generation of the Tamron 24-70 f2.8 for my 5d mark II and I hope it’s good!
I also looked at those old 10d, 20d at online auctions and it’s literally gold for pennies!
If I know myself I’ll be picking up several of these oldies in the coming moths and I just love the colors!
Wonder though when the “film like era” ended or switched in Canon cameras… is the 50d still one of the old awesome color ones? 🤔
    Thanks!

Well, I just recently bought a 6D mark 1. That was released in 2012 and the colors are 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. Having shot with cameras released later, I’d say 2012 was the cutoff year, personally.

Nice! The best images I ever made were on my OG Canon 5D and the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 mark ii lens. Didn’t require any editing whatsoever… I wonder how the the Tamron lens stacks up with the Canon? Cheers!

I will say, now using the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 Mark II, The Canon does provide better image quality and sharpness. The lack of IS is kind of annoying though.

Great video, by the way how does the video look when you shoot on that 20D with that overpriced lens? At least you could have used a Canon 6d.

Ahhh... but I don't have a Canon 6D. And the point of the video WAS putting modern, more expensive glass on an old camera, to see what happens with the photos. The 20D doesn't shoot video, so that wasn't a consideration. Glad you enjoyed the video!
