That effect is cool but probably not one for every slide change. Just on the change from one faction to another feels right I see what ur going for tho. Like the old viewscreens they use in the 40k universe. Would be pretty sweet if we figure out a way to make these meta updates feel like an "in universe" thing
Am I wrong in thinking that starshatter's strengths come from its incredible enhancements more so than from any of the abilities that got a CP nerf today?
WTF why did they touch necrons? did GW they just have an over supply of Doomsday Arks and The Silent King models clogging up the warehouse. Win rates were 48%-53%. Starshatter wasn’t a problem it had a terrible time scoring. It was very beatable hell I am in the negative playing it.
@aaronnunavabizniz199 And I'll be VERY surprised if an army with a glaring weakness like that comes out on top. The early - mid tables will be terrorized, and then the top tables will deal with it.
@@ThrowawayCloverQuite so. Starshatter bullies mediocre players and then collapses in the face of anyone competent enough to know how to face a powerful shooting army. And there are more powerful shooting armies than Necrons could ever hope to be
@@aaronnunavabizniz199 most people BS, they may be the most popular but I doubt it’s even 10%. Astra Militarium is probably the most popular. As it’s more skill demanding. At Nottingham only one Necron player even cracked top 12. Hardly a dominating showing but you know what appeared twice Guard.
I want to know why they did nothing to the votan detachment. It's almost useless for current votan. They do all this for a mountain of armies but ignore the dwarves?
It's possible the detachment was written with the codex in mind. It's possible the army rule is a lot stronger in the codex, so they didn't want to overpower a detachment which won't be in there.
+1 to wound for a whole army twice for free and full reroll to hit? Yees nothing wrong with that. +1 to wound for one unit on objective for 1CP? Absolutely not!
Starshatter was pretty much universally viewed as middling at this point. The weaknesses are glaring. A quad nerf wasn't necessary lol. Don't believe me, just check LVO and the fact that none of the top players considered running it 🤷
Right? Starshatter is a great detachment, but it doesn't make a DDA not a lottery cannon, and it doesn't make anything cheaper 😅 it really just made it so the TSK Gunline permeating the Hypercrypt results had a proper home. One without perfect positioning, or an oppressive scoring ability.
The insanity of sisters not touched in the hotfix
Just a note, the tankbustas were already 120 before this mfm update, their points were updated when the new datacard was released.

Sacrificing your opponent’s cultists was certainly a vibe 😅

I think the reactive move nerf was a big deal - that strat could make a lot of matchups really tough; and making it less consistent is huge
Tsons sorcerer lone op ability is psychic so that change makes it so your lone op bubble doesnt get bigger
Its like they dropped a bugfix
Thousand sons change has something to do with sorcerer's 18" range not wanting it to be 24" ,if that makes sense to anyone
Lone op
I like the change to the Ravenwing command Squad. One of my favorit units and a power house in stormlance. :)

Exactly lol. Anyone that knows Warhammer knows Shatter wasn't a problem.
Take a look at LVO. MOST people are playing shatter necrons. It's not just a high number, it's more than any other faction .

weird they didn't take away boosted oath from ultras/ non compliant chapters

well its easy...Votann don't crush the game right now. Weak armys are not as big of a problem for the game the OP ones.

Tank bustas went up when they got the new models gained an extra modem and wound
Tank bustas didnt go up. They just cleaned up the pdf.

I'm a noob, which army has +1 wound and free rerolls to hit? I'm new
@@NoahKingOHigherPlanespeeesh murines of the main codex
Quick one, nice :) Denizens seems crazy strong now
Us daemon players are bloody loving it
Will these be valid at LVO?
From what I've seen the rules cutoff was the 10th so no
Mean while killteam is just like… 🦗🦗🦗
Thanks
