I'm hoping that the seasons for the Harry Potter TV series aren't only 6 to 8 episodes long because I feel even in TV series format it's way too little if they want to get everything from each book. Sadly as much as I like the Percy Jackson TV series, they are rushing it way too quickly for me to enjoy it even more so I hope this is not the case with Harry Potter as well. But I keep my expectations low until proven otherwise.
That was one of my complaints about the tv series. Honestly a lot of the Disney + series have had too few episodes. Granted I don't think we needed an episode for every chapter.
Whatever is next for Hogwarts Legacy, God willing, I'm here for it all. It makes me beyond happy to know that WB Games sees the property as a franchise too. ❤
I do agree with Andy's point about the DLC, it does have to be fairly significant if they are aiming to get the casual gamers back into Hogwarts Legacy. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much about it though. Perhaps they'll announce the dates for everything in one big post, including the documentary which they seem to have been very silent about too! 👀
Why are they not expanding and explaining the wizarding world like the wizard war or the creation of hogwarts. For 10 years we’re just getting remakes? That’s very depressing
Probably because they would have to make up 70% of the story and they can’t be bothered. Plus one of the biggest problems with Hogwarts legacy is the characters, outside of Sabastian and Black they are all not very interesting, if hogwarts legacy was set during the marauders time it would have been a lot more interesting because we’d have so many interesting characters to interact with most importantly the young marauders, young Snape and Lily.
In fairness, this isn’t just limited to the Harry Potter franchise. This has been happening for years across many different industries. Think about all the Disney live action remakes that you can remember from the last 5 years, for a start. It will change eventually. We just gotta hold tight lol
I hope we can use the elder wand that it can be possible within the game itself becuase you got the dialogue and the wand model itself it just needs to be put into New Game Plus so you could equip it and use it that way. because to me that's the most important thing for me that would only wont this game you already can use it in the game in one part of the story but its locked so🙏🤞🏻

Maybe they'll include a few goodies, QOL improvements, a photo mode, some gameplay balancing, and minor extra features, but I would be surprised if there's very much beyond that in the way of new content.
My ex wife got me into the Potterverse and since we’ve been split up I’ve clung to it even more as it’s a reminder of the amazing times we had together with our daughter. We would all cuddle up in our big bed together and me and her would read the books to our little one. She was about 4 when I met her mom and she was like my own child so it made it so much harder when my ex and I split up. I don’t have kids of my own and honestly my heart is still with my ex and her daughter so idk if I’ll ever have my own kids. Anyways I got off subject a bit but I felt a little background on why I’m such a huge PotterHead these days was necessary lol. We bought Hogwarts legacy for my ps4 and we all there took turns playing together so when she left me I gave her the ps4 so they could continue to play HL together and I got myself a PS5. Just recently I finally broke down and bought myself a copy of HL for my ps5 lol between RDR2, HL, and God of War Ragnarok I stay occupied on my days off lol. I’m super stoked about all the new HP content coming to us over the next decade! Skål 🍻

When I heard they want to put more focus on diversity and "modernizing" it. I lost interest. I'll always be thankful for what JKR has already done for the wizarding world. But im also annoyed at the fact that modern Hollywood always needs to make things political and pander to people who dont watch or read this IP. Hollywood also has a thing for raceswaping redheads. And changing the ethnicity of characters for diversity points. They did this with the recent Percy Jackson series on D+. In the source material they describe characters a certain way and how they should be depicted then change it cause there's not enough representation or diversity in the original material. Then the author comes in and defends these actions despite the fact that they probably wouldn't have made these changes when the books first released as it was made that way for a reason. Idk I'm all for a series that stays true to the books and original material. But lately I've wanted it less and less. I'm glad JKR is involved, but I really dont like this idea and am not on board with it much.
With the live action series show runners, as long as they are fans of Harry Potter and go by the books and Rowling. With the Witcher series they didn't play the game and were not fans. What do you all think?

I’m so excited! I was a young mom so my daughter discovered HP books. As a mom, had to take her to the movies. I got just as sucked in, watching midnight premieres, taking her to HP events… when this is released my gbaby will be 4 yo. So 4-14. almost perfect timing! None of us have ever been to the theme park either so that’s also going to be a 1st for all 3 of us to experience together 🤩 I do hate when HBO does dumb stuff like wait 2 years between seasons though
I just wanted to say that Max doesn't really have to make gaps between seasons longer than 1 year. They could split the release in 2 parts like The Walking Dead. If they're aiming for 10 episodes per season and then 20 episodes per season then it takes 3 months to release a shorter season or part 1 of the season (1 episode per week). Then let's say 6 months without new content (or some mini series), 2-3 months of promotional campaign and then release of part 2. This way the fans are hyped for new content for a longer time.
I was referring to the Haunted Hogsmeade quest, which has been exclusive to PlayStation platforms for the past year. Sometime this summer, it will come to the other platforms.
Im not one to disappoint anyone but a dreadful thought came to my head a couple weeks ago but given the fact that Cyberpunk phantom liberty won't be coming to last gen it got me thinking it what if the possible Hogwarts Legacy DLC doesn't come to last gen I don't know what do you think retro be q interesting video idea
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it skipped last-gen as well. Then again, we don't know much about how substantial the DLC really is. I could certainly see it being current gen only though. On the positive side though, Avalanche/WB should have access to the data to see exactly how many people are playing on Switch/PS4/XBO. If the numbers are significant enough, I think they'd probably try and make it work. I guess we'll see!
I think Avalanche has a different approach and that's why they released Hogwarts Legacy on every platform including switch (some 2023 releases were current gen only - Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, Star Wars Jedi Survivor). The only sensible reason to do that that comes to my mind is that the previous generation couldn't handle the update (which could enhance graphics among other things).

I can’t speak your other viewers but I am a fan of the videos, I generally don’t have time to watch the live play (def not saying you should stop those, just saying I’d watch more update videos, even if they were a little more dragged out, because I like them.
