No yeah I love it too. In this age of streaming where your queue will immediately continue after you finish an album, it's nice to have an ending where it lets you breath before you're ready for something else
@@aetergator7020 that is why yes, but that was still by choice. there is a "playlist version" of orchids but it should just not exist. call me a dingus, but i really think the silence makes part of the song.
The very last bit of vocalizing together makes me feel like I'm being told that at least i can be grateful that, when the end of the world comes, there truly won't be any suffering anymore.
0:53 Words can’t explain the feeling this powerful treasure holds. Glistening vocals, stinging lyrics, and heart bashing instrumentals. No image could depict the wild emotion this sends. No face could capture the soul crushing moment this wraps me in. I have an odd fixation on this beauty
Listened to this song walking the streets of a locked down Amsterdam on vacation just before last Christmas, the calmness of the beautiful rivers at night, being in such a magical city, all coupled with this song made for a truly blissful experience. I had to DM the guys on twitter right there and then for making such a beautiful melody.
I like that crying can be viewed as something that isn’t sad, or bad. It can be actually very happy, just finding a quiet place, maybe some soft music, and just weep. It’s melancholy, but it helps a lot with processing feelings, and it can feel very good to just let it all out, release that tenseness and negetive energy Having what I call “depressive episodes” feels very nice sometimes, just being able to take everything in, and drop it. Just laying down, staring at the ceiling listening to slow playlists, and just zoning out.
This song is extremely good There are very few songs that truly speak to me and even fewer that have pulled tears from me How the fuck does this not have 10M views by now Excellent song gushing with emotion while driving a stake into my cold dead vampiric heart
I listened to your guys' Spotify account on shuffle and this came on. Absolutely blissful, and that outro reminds me of Edit The Sad Parts by Modest Mouse, beautiful quiet to let you think about the whole album. 10/10, banger
Im sad that I didn’t discover this song sooner. I have been hooked on by bedroom community that I haven’t really checked out their other songs and now im glad that i gave it a shot. This song is truly amazing and phenomenal. A truly under appreciated and underrated band
Currently crying while listening to this after asking my crush of 1 1/2 years to homecoming only to realize she is lesbian, she came out to her crush 10 minutes later, they are dating now
Your head after she confessed: *BLUE ORCHIDS BLOOM THROUGH THE CITY STREETS AT NIGHT* *INTO STARLIGHT WE CALL OUT* *"WE'RE STILL HERE, CAN YOU HEAR ME?"*
We watched the smoke clouds rise until we couldn't see the stars And everyone was down below breathing in the fumes One day we'll meet up on the moon and then we'll be ok And we'll be together Blue orchids bloom Through the city streets at night Into starlight we call out "We're still here, can you hear me?" From up above the moon She's bathed in burning neon lights As the starlight just fades out There's no tears no celebration Blue orchids bloom Through the city streets at night Into starlight we fade out There's no tears no celebration From up above the moon She's bathed in burning neon lights As the starlight just fades out There's no tears no celebration
My friend yesterday called this song “a song you would listen to while driving off a cliff” so I don’t know what to do now.
I might just have an idea *grabs key to fork-lift whit mischevious intentions*
No joke, my hardcore Terraria character died while 0:53 started, and I'm not even mad because the timing was just too good
Not the hardcore terraria character ):
ouch sorry for your loss
your sacrifice will be remembered
That's a mood
Damn thats rough
I have no idea where I found this but I am wasted and loving all of this music
Man, idk if it was intentional or not but I love how after the song it gives you a moment to just- sit and take it all in
No yeah I love it too. In this age of streaming where your queue will immediately continue after you finish an album, it's nice to have an ending where it lets you breath before you're ready for something else
the pessimistic view is that this song was extended so that it could make the full album 1 hour lmao

This is one of the most insane vocal and instrumental performances I've ever heard

why is this not a popular band?
All the good bands are usually underrated as fuck
@@realxynthix uh yeah i agree
It will get popular. Just wait. People are a little late sometimes.
I discover this band like 3 weeks ago and i have the same question. Why is not popular, honestly all their songs are amazing.
Nowadays they are starting to get more recognition, I'm glad because that means I get to see them on tour tomorrow
Your music has always been so cathartic and evocative. So beautiful and raw
