Not in my case. They said my dog is 100% pit bull. There is no way she is 100%. Her mom was clearly not a pure pit..........I do know that. And judging by all of the 1 star reviews on their site (and very recent reviews), many people would agree.
We adopted a dog that was said to be a "shepherd mix.' I grew up with shepherds and was doubtful, so had her DNA done, which came back as "40% pit bull, 30% Boxer, and 30% 'supermutt'." Well, I've had pitbulls as well and disagree because as our dog is much slenderer. Doing more research, I learned about Black Mouth Curs (they're not common here and I'd never seen one). Our dog looks exactly like one, so I think that's what she is, test results aside. We love her regardless, but I really expected more accurate test results (from Embark).

That's the one I used and the results seemed pretty spot on.. when I look at my pup, I see all 5 breeds that listed
