    I know why people feeling bad about ichika, but it's just clearly they are not clear what a live performance truely is, what type of a performer ichika is and what a video production is.
    1. everyone should know no one can play a live song exactly the same as the original soundtrack, otherwise, it has backing track or pre-recorded track supported, someone may call it worship backing or whatever. I just want to say this technique are commonly seen on most of the live performance in the world. And Ichika did have backing track supported sometimes, but doesn't mean that he can't play it himself, he's proved his technique already, try use your brain.
    2. Ichika is not something super human or best guitarist in the world, there is never 'best', you can have 'best of the best of the best of the....', everyone has their own 'best'. He is clearly human and experiencing the same feelings on the stage, trying to do his best, I can say he is still young, lack of live experience, but from I have seen in this performance, he's already doing great, I kind of enjoyed it.
    3. Bad notes. Don't try to make me laugh if you want to say this is prohibited, I dare you say the same thing to other famous bands, singers or orchestra. Clearly, Ichika's music is mostly based on clean tone with one guitar only, that's already so difficult in terms of the way of performing, and needs way more focus on not making mistakes and putting emotions as the same time, if you think it's easy, try to do it yourself live for one hour then and comeback with the recorded video to me.
    4. Speed. Well, if speed is one thing you care about than you should find other guitarist for speed, there are many guitarists out there playing faster than Ichika, I think you can heal yourself there after being upset by Ichika. Regarding the speed in Ichika's short video, I haven't watched all his video yet, but so far I don't see any speed up edited trace, I highly doubt it's your ears faking your eyes. I may say the sound is pre-recorded and just mixed up the video together, that's almost what everyone is doing on their video contents, isn't it? Okay, now you said his song in live is slower than the studio version, then what is the problem? They can play it slower or faster they want, even lower the key, I just can't figure out why is that a problem honestly, he's not making from 120 bpm to 60 bpm anyway. I may say maybe Ichika wanted to make it more clear and less mistakes. But still, that doesn't mean he cannot play it.
    5. If you think he can make video with only one take, then you should go seek other 'real god' in earth. Of course he needs so many takes before making a good one! I doubt there are still people think he can always do it one shot, not even other super guitarists. When you came up with a licks/riff, you need time to practice, that's nothing more normal than this! for the sake of god! He's playing fast also playing more takes. that's it.
    6. There is still one thing you may not ever think of, in Ichika's video, most of them are less than 30 seconds, so tell me if your were him, do you want to just play those all 30 seconds clips one by one and then finish this show? playing a super fast riff in 30 second, and the switch to other riff and another? Come on.. In the show, if you do only want to only enjoy that exciting moments with his super speed crunchy sound in 30 seconds and then feel life's completed, I think you may have some physiological issues...
    7.This world needs loves and supports, not just one word one sentence to deny anyone's effort, no one's perfect, and only to keep improving, be better. Don't get judgement and racist only in your heart, be kind. And I think Ichika will keep improving and continue his career.

      Ichika is one of the most talented guitarists on the planet. If you deny that, you are simply coping. I could care less whether or not he sped multiple videos up to 1.17x speed or not. His songwriting and technical ability are undeniable. Whether or not this is the greatest live performance or not also has no bearing on his ability. The problem with you is that you need to look in the mirror and come to terms with yourself. You could speed your videos up to 5x speed and they would still be unimpressive. You have a long way to go before judging others' musical abilities with unnecessary harshness. The tone of your comments suggests you also have a long way to go as a person before attacking another's character.

      @troycalhoun8438 Год назад +1

      @@Pyriscent Suggesting he's not playing even half as fast as in his videos is simply not true. Many of the songs he plays in this live performance are played 15-20% slower than the studio versions, which I see no problem with. They are not easy songs to perform, and I fail to see how it makes him a fraud. You seem ignorant to the amount of thought and work that goes into making and mixing a song in a studio. Studio versions of songs are never one take. There are always tons of takes over days, even weeks, and the best one is always used, and that is the entire point. The best takes are mixed appropriately to get the sound desired to make it the most enjoyable to listen to. The takes in studio are not sped up either. Your entire gripe seems to be based on him playing insanely technical things at impressive speeds in 20-30 second clips. It's just the best take from playing it over and over again for a couple hours likely after having previously practiced it. It's impressive but not impossible or superhuman. So, I don't see how following him is punishing myself or the guitar community. I think Ichika has done nothing but further enrich my playing and my life with his music.

      I'm the opposite, I think he sounds very very clean in this performance, it's the volume of the live audio and possibly the lack of compression that makes the volume of his playing sound uneven.
      Also, I would agree that a guitarist is only as good as they are live, however, I do think the standards are not always true for song-writing musicians, one can solely focus on writing songs and that wouldn't make him any less of an artist if he's good.
