What I love about this MTO is the honest and open points shared which are a real eye opener regarding the realities of boat ownership based on your needs
Never apologise, Nick - what we love about your channel is the authenticity, everything from the enthusiasm over the tiniest details to the inadvertent (and rare) f**k-ups! It's all authentic - as the kids would say, you're "keeping it real" and for that we salute you.
Very well thought out choice. Experience with previous boats has naturally formed the "must have" and the "avoid" lists. Well suited for many, this review was enjoyable and comprehensive. Thank both of you for sharing!
I think you have a RUclips first Nick... A cock up that is also a cliff hanger.!Well done young man. Can't wait to see what he's bought next, lucky man.
Interesting development 😂 Personally, I find it more interesting to hear from people who are selling a boat (as opposed to deliriously happy people that just bought one). You get a much better impression of the pros and cons and realities of owning them. Whether a boat is 'great' or not utterly depends on the usage the owner expects of it.
Another great video. You do such a good job bringing us with you on these!! Couldn’t help noticing the “get at-able” copyright infringement. Take care.
Hi nick usual quality vid now question my eagle eye spotted on your wall the photo of the princesses 25 32 37 so what models are on pic and year location etc 70s earls court I would think
What an intriguing story ending on a cliffhanger. Looking forward to part two. Always interesting to hear about real living with boats experiences Thanks Nick 😀
I absolutely love hearing about these stories, about not getting on with a boat. Talk about a cliffhanger of an eposode nick 😁 can't wait to see the next one tomorrow 🤙
Great tour and interview like this details and insight on cost to operate The 38’ vs the 40’ models Can’t wait to see his new boat tomorrow Thank you for sharing Nick:.. you’re my number one go to for yachts!
I love how things like tables have a double use, lowering it with cushions make a bed, watch at the 13 min 35 seconds even his shirt could double as a table cloth, add an empty wine bottle with a candle stuck in it and you got "atmosphere". Big fan, once my bitcoins etc buy me a yacht, I'll invite Nick and wife on board
Will def watch this later as we’re thinking our next boat, after our Parker 850, will be a Beneteau GT. Either a new 32 or a used 38. Although, I think I may be more tempted by the open version of the 32GT - the Flyer 10 - as we never sleep on board.
Great video - love hearing about the actual smaller day-to-day details that don't come up in boat reviews. Also what a plot twist at the end!! Haha thanks Nick!
A good point of view from 2 different types of boats and the meet the owners is a good way of doing research to see which type suits you best and the best place to see these is AQUAHOLIC looking forward to tomorrow's vidio
It's all good here. This is why I purchased a different kind of device to record. After reading how much the overheating happens combined with living in Florida, it just was not going to work for me. Look forward to catching another one of these very soon! Take care, bye bye...... 🍷
Nick, I thought this was brilliant! Real conversation with real life experiences of boat ownership and usage. Now, as far as the ending, either you really did have equipment problems or you are a marketing genius!! Maybe both!😂😊
LOL, sometimes things just turns into smelly stuff that originates from horned animals 😀but the story so far was interesting, so I'm really looking forward for the next one. The boat tour was very good too. Thanks 😀
Bummer. But I shall watch tomorrow 😄 There seems to be quite a few "Card issues" in the last year or so and not just with You Tubers. Memory sticks too.
Well that’s a bit different…… Really not sure I would move from a Princess to a Beneteau….. imo. A bit like moving from driving a classic Bentley….to a ford focus ! 🤷♂️…still takes all sorts to make the world go round ….. I would much much prefer a slightly older Engine style with far more reliability….even if it does use a bit more fuel …. Modern Engines that rely on Electronics…can have huge problems…..as a friend of ours knows to his Huge cost …. 😮😮🤦♂️🤦♂️….Anyway …..Very interesting none the less ….Really looking fwd to the Next part to see what Steve has moved on to now 🤔🤔🤔🤔……Love these Meet the Owners videos top job again Nick 👍❤️😎🏴☠️
Good Evening Nick what a lovely boat a very enjoyable video Thank you very much just wondering if you could do a review on a Ribeye rib? keep up the brilliant work Thank you again Tristan
I think Steve needs to really do a closer analysis of his needs and wants. Buying another boat every few months because you haven't figured out what you really want is not cost effective. My wife would not allow me to do this, and I would end up with no boat.
@@AQUAHOLIC Hi Nick, my apologies for being invasive. I just looked a little deeper and realize now what has happened. These things are always terribly difficult no matter the cause. I wish you health, strength and happiness.
Just a matter of taste I guess but the Princess though perhaps a little old fashioned seems a much nicer boat. If the Princess is continually doing 5 knots on the Thames the engines will soon get glazed bores. They need to work hard. £1000 fuel cost each way? Surely not. Smoky diesels went out in the 80s unless they are worn or need work. Getting wetted with spray on the Flybridge? Must have been rough. Much smaller boats with only one deck are dry in most conditions.

Great insight! I was surprised to discover when it cut.. that I was already on the edge of my seat! Not upset with this cliffhanger haha
Another great video. You do such a good job bringing us with you on these!! Couldn’t help noticing the “get at-able” copyright infringement. Take care.
I spotted that, made me laugh! 😄
Nick it’s a skill to let the owners talk and simply listen. Very insightful video from the owner, very intriguing ending. Love the series 👏🏻
Much appreciated!
😂 These things happen for a reason and you got an even more intriguing story out of it. Let’s hope it’s 3rd time lucky for these boaters, Nick!

I actually sold this boat to Steve! Amazing chap and a seriously well designed boat from Beneteau.
No way? That's fantastic!
Great video - love hearing about the actual smaller day-to-day details that don't come up in boat reviews. Also what a plot twist at the end!! Haha thanks Nick!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Steve changes his boats like most people change their socks. Good luck him. Looking forward to the sequel.

Wow, I am on the edge of my seat. Looking forward to Episode 2 tomorrow. You may have screwed-up, but it was a good screw-up.
The best kind! 😄
Nick,
I thought this was brilliant! Real conversation with real life experiences of boat ownership and usage. Now, as far as the ending, either you really did have equipment problems or you are a marketing genius!! Maybe both!😂😊

Great video, nice guy! 💚
You couldn't make it up Nick....what larks!!
Never give up 😉
Nothing better than a cliff hangar and could not have been scripted if you tried. Can't wait now 😂
Brilliant, what a teaser.
You had us on the edges of our seats and then

Oh, you little tease!! Oh well, something for the weekend.
All's well that ends well!
Good Evening Nick what a lovely boat a very enjoyable video Thank you very much just wondering if you could do a review on a Ribeye rib? keep up the brilliant work
Thank you again
Tristan
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
He said getatable! 😂 he's using your catchphrases infront of you! 😂😂
😄
Honesty, it turns out, really is the best policy....
What are we guessing the boat is?
I'm going with a princess V48 or V50 deck.
I think Steve needs to really do a closer analysis of his needs and wants. Buying another boat every few months because you haven't figured out what you really want is not cost effective. My wife would not allow me to do this, and I would end up with no boat.
Gosh, if you get your numbers wrong, it can be costly........Waiting for the follow on clip🤔
Just edit that out later 🤣🤣👍
Nice
Creating drama like an episode of Eastenders 😂
Boom, boom, boom de boomboom! 🥁
Nick, Marianne’s channel seems to have been deleted of videos. Is everything alright?
Marianne has made rather a lot of changes of late...
@@AQUAHOLIC Hi Nick, my apologies for being invasive. I just looked a little deeper and realize now what has happened. These things are always terribly difficult no matter the cause. I wish you health, strength and happiness.
