This David Luiz here was pretty good. He unleashed himself to world class level, when Benítez put him as defensive midfielder. That was the best ever tactical tweak. He defended better on midfield intercepting and using his strength than at defence and was very good at dribbling off pressure, his passing (short and long) at driving!!! He was perfect at CDM. Mourinho never used him again, and he lost his new power!

I’m not a football expert but it feels that nowadays Chelsea’s players are too scared to hit the ball to the goal. They just keep passing here and there, making no real efforts to actually score. That Lampard goal… look how far he was from the goal itself but he just hit it without fear or whatever. How are you gonna score 8 in a game again if you don’t hit the ball? We only had one shot on target in today’s game. It’s embarrassing. And yet I can’t not love this club, no matter what.
