Shiva is the male form standing for Life or Shivam; Parvathi is the femal form standing for Energy or Sakthi. One without another is useless. This series of mantras called "Artha Nareeswaram" where it prasies the virtues of Shiva and Sakthi. As you can see in this dance form - Sakthi portrays the female form of dancing and Shiva dances like a male. Like chinese YING-YANG, Shiva and Shakthi when combines once reaches a truely blissful state.
In Indian culture, any fine art (dancing, singing, painting, sculpturing, even cooking...) has to be taken not on a face value; When you do with whole hearted involment, one can not differentiate between You and the ART. It is in a way Meditation...

    மிகக் கடுமையான நடன அமைப்பு சிரமமாகத்தான் இருக்கும் இருப்பினும் உங்கள் பாவம் நடன அமைப்புகள் நன்றாக உள்ளது வாழ்த்துக்கள்
