The album is called 222 because His first two albums have 2s in it and this his third album. He also got shot on June 22nd 2022 and when he got shot a helicopter airlifted him at 2:22 am and he’s 22 years old. He said it in an interview

This is his best album. True 2 Myself was the album that blew him up, Destined 2 Win was him letting u know he's here to stay, 222 is him finding himself as a artist and solidifying himself in the game forever.
I'm not english so I don't understand what he's saying when he sings, that's probably why I prefere True 2 Myself and Destined 2 Win, there are more hit if you see what I'm saying. 222 is for me to slow

If anything this album is fast paste and is just like true 2 self just with more of a meaning and a better version which was his main focus for 222
Facts. 1st time I heard the album, I thought true 2 myself was better, but I really started having this album on repeat and it's definitely his best album. I like this version of tjay better tbh.

This is an album that grows on you. I think I was expecting something closer to True 2 Myself or Destined 2 Win when I first heard it but I’m so glad that it was not that. This album 100% deserves multiple listens from start to finish because the storytelling and self expression are both so good on it. Tjay did an amazing job on this album. His best album by far in my opinion 💯
