Update videos are my favorite!!! Because everyone's always reviewing products but no one tells you anything useful when it comes to how long they last or how much they actually use them or if they're worth what they paid for them in the long run 👍👍👍👍

I'm actually impressed with the shredder...it would be great for salads especially!! The other nice thing that storing it would take up little room. On another note, can you imagine what our kitchen cabinets, counters & drawers would look like if all of these products actually worked? lol Thanks so much for reviewing it!! I was so impressed with the shredder, I decided to order it for my salads!! I had lost your channel for a long time now, thanks to RUclips...lol, so glad I found you again!! 😊
The dissolvable labels have that form to fill out because they were designed with a professional kitchen in mind. We used them in a restaurant I worked at, and I think we may have used them even when I was in culinary school 17 years ago.
Yea, that was my thought. We used what looked to be the exact same ones when I worked in fast food. I think it's more of a case of a "professional" product also being sold for home use than anything else.
Oh those stickers have been around for ages, we use to use them at Subway even back in the mid 90's when I got my first job and you can buy them even as a normal person from many places... But with Amazon well that is even easier now if you don't have a supply store near by.
@@IceTTom Yeah I mean other than from industrial supply companies. There are plenty of shops that sell things like the plastic containers and other supplies like the dissolving labels that might have one been considered industrial supplies that go in large kitchens for resteraunts. Most industrial supply companies won't deal with individuals unless you have a business.
I love the dissolvable labels. They make blank ones, too. The one problem I've noticed is if you don't go through them fast enough they don't stick too well after a while, especially after a humid summer
can I maybe ask you something or give you a tip? keeping them in a bag in an airtight container with some dessicant and they're sure to not degrade. is that too much effort? I've done this with some very moisture sensitive things I wanted to store.
I have the tiny tabletop firepit and I love it. I don't think I would use it inside, though. I keep it out on my (concrete and brick) front porch. It sits out there on a small bistro table, in a tray filled with river rock. It's nice to sit out there by it in the fall/spring and listen to the creek and the critters.
I got one of those microwave sandwich makers, and it does make a pretty good grilled cheese sandwich. I've also used it to reheat fries, pizza, and have made quesadillas in it as well.👍🏻
I bought and LOVE the indoor fire pit....it's a great piece when you have company, conversation starter and looks great on a kitchen table even in broad daylight. The only real con is having to wait like 30 minutes before refilling for safety. As far as safety, it's no more dangerous than a candle, just make sure to give it an open area (where it can't be bumped into) because the flame IS big. Also the shred machine is a MUST for cabbage and pulled pork....the effort it saves on those two is insane.
5:36 I use a $15 aquarium pump. Came with the pump, two bubblers, tubing and 2 one way valves. I put a bubbler at the bottom of each of the one gallon glass jars and gets rid of the chlorine smell in 15 minutes. As far as getting rid of anything else, I can't say, but happy with how it works just like it is.
Thanks to your original video, I bought my partner the VacuTrim. He shaves his head weekly and uses it to maintain his beard. He loves it! It makes cleanup a breeze, which is very significant. Cleaning up hairs is such a pain!
I've seen someone use it inside an old fireplace that was not gas, it was the regular wood log kind. But they didn't want to burn real wood. so they got one of those things and then put some of those gas fireplace ceramic logs in front of it, and it looks really good. That's pretty much the only way I would use it.
❤love the fire pit. I use a cheap Ramikken oven dish And back fill it with pebbles to slow down the burn. Great for warming a room on a chilli night Or just for the ambience
The fire pit is very similar to something I used in the late 90s. I worked at a coffee shop that has s'mores on the menu. We brought it to your table with all the ingredients and skewers. The "pit" was metal and used gel sterno rather than liquid alcohol, much safer.
I bought a small table fire pit that’s Sharper Image brand at Walmart last year when it started getting cold outside and I literally used it just about everyday inside when it got really cold out, especially when we had ice and snow. I know a lot of people seem scared to use it inside but as long as your not purposely trying to knock it over it’s not going anywhere, I had mine on a small table in the living room and that’s where it’s stayed since.
Used them even back in the mid 90's at Subway, not anything new but you had to get them from supply stores normally but Amazon has made them so much easier to get.
I bought the vacuum shave for my husband for Christmas, based on your year end review. It wasn't quite what he was needing (narrower trimmer), but it definitely reduces the mess and that's what I needed!
Yes. I, however, thought about how often do I want or make shredded meat? About twice a year here, so while this would be great to have, I probably won't get it.
Makes for a decent gift item for the right person though, since it's still very useful if you have it around already. Nice luxury item that saves a lot for work when used for someone who would use it at least a few times a year.
I did buy one of those waffle cone makers new in the box at a yard sale, used it once and never again. It was fine, but hard to get it sealed and ended up being more work than it was worth for me
I miss well water back in MI. Have lived in Vegas off & on most my life, and all locals know why our tap water is not great... 2 words Lake Mead. Love your reviews sir. Its good to know there are still some honest people in the valley
Once saw that firepit get overfilled, and then was placed on a large table, during the filming of a podcast... And the alcohol spilled out and damn near started a fire on the table.
For water stuff should get a PPM tester. That way you can visually see if there is a difference. You get one included with those ZERO water filters. Ill say right now it truely does take out all chlorine, lead etc... it tests at 0 ppm. Puts all other tap water filtrations to shamre.
I'm a manager at jimmy John's in NE and we recently started using those disolvable labels. They are great however the adhesive does not like to stick to certain types of plastic in my experience. Would recommend them though
Any amount of grease on the hands, gloves, or container will prevent it from sticking properly. Source: I've worked in several restaurants many years ago and that was the main issue. Quick wipe the area with sanitizer, dry towel and try to touch as little of the adhesive as possible was how we were able to get it to stick.
It’d be great if you went back into the boneyard and did a whole video on the best grilled cheese makers in all of Freakin Reviews history! I want to know which one beats all the rest!
One of the best 10 gadget updates. Thank you. My favourites are the alcohol flame burner, the disc shredder and the grilled cheese maker. Nice and simple, versatile and work as advertised. The worst has got to be the breakfast sandwich cooker. Looks cheap and a pain in the keister to clean and doesn't even toast the english muffin properly. Come on now. Lol.
The breakfast maker was the first video of yours that I watched! The gulf between how long it had been(one year) , and how long I thought had been(like 2 months) almost made me throw up
And that is why, when you drink an 8 ounce or even 4 ounce glass of orange juice your blood sugar spikes. Its basically like 3-4 large oranges. in a drink with no fiber.
The waffle cone thing... If making the bowl, you're better off flipping the bowl over round side up, then draping the hot cone over top and pressing the other down. Basically whole thing upside down. You can line it up better that way.
Would be curious how you compare the Vacutrimmer vs the Philips Norelco 7000 series. I have been using the older version of the Norelco for a decade and love it.

Bailey stalking behind you while you were using the Shred Machine 🤣

That makes sense for grilling small items. Cool, how things are made for bigger purposes, and now us little people can use it.

I would ask if you are Dutch but bringing up stroopwafels is almost more not-dutch than Dutch, haha 😅
