Not only yunjin buff is flat addition and nowhere comparable to candace but that limited thing is a joke, like if you were gonna hit 7 enemies at the same time with ayato, lmao it's stupidly farfetched, in most situation you will never consume all the stacks, look at Ayato's damage in the video, in a real situation enemies would all be dead with 3 or 4 hit anyway... but whatever, the Total damage in the end is not comparable at all, Candace have good reasons to be defended but the arguments in this video are a joke.

Run a team for ayato with Candace, Yun Jin and zhongli. It's a dope team and you get that hydro hp resonance with is good for ayato Candace and zhongli and the geo resonance which boosts the damage. It's quite fun as well
people who use both are the biggest winners
Ive used this team before, and unfortunately, if i replace the candace slot with a kazuha, it SIGNIFICANTLY increases the damage output of my Ayato. So unless hoyo is gonna increase the party size, Candace to me is still a less efficient buffer than the likes of yunjin, bennet, kazuha, and even zhong li

Since I just got Hu Tao and she desperately needs xingqiu I’ve been trying to use Candace for hyperbloom Kuki. Basically it’s nahida, Kuki, Candace and someone else in there and Candace gives Kuki thé hydro infusion to have her trigger blooms through normal attacks
I forgot that Candace gave hydro infusion. Since I don't have Xingqiu I'll have to give her a try.

Also, Candace can buff the characters' normal attack by around 30% by just existing in game, you don't even have to level up her talents. While Yunjin requires more investment, 90/90 for full Def then Burst talents.

And TBH, they are debating about Ayato, Yoimiya, and Childe. While the true winner on Candace's and Yunjin's Arrival is Kokomi, HAHAHAHA.
But the thing about yunjin is that her quota is per character,not for the whole burst so you can use multiple na dmg characters quickswap

It really depends on what kind of team you're using and who your opponent is. People who say this character is better than that character don't understand what synergy is. They can be better or worse in 1 or more specific scenarios but never in all of Genshin.

Not to mention that Candace's Elemental Damage boost apparently continues working even if her Hydro Infusion is overridden, meaning that people like Noelle, whose major damage is from infusing her weapon with Geo and making it so big that it's almost certain to hit multiple enemies per swing so long as there are multiple enemies anywhere in her general time zone, would benefit a lot from Candace's buffs.
then again, Candace adds dmg% instead of a flat atk boost like Sara, Bennett, and Yun Jin. Noelle’s large attack range works well with Bennett’s circle, or even better just use gorou which solves everything. Stick to hydro carries for optimal Candace usage
@@rona0427 Yunjin and Shenhe flat dmg bonus are not treated the same as Bennett’s/Sara’ flat atk, idk if there is a merit to that but they are added to your atk after your base atk + atk% buffs + bennett buff has been multiplied by talent multipliers

@@ironicmirror6732 my yunjin dps is physical damage oriented. 2 piece husk 2 piece pale flame/blood stained. def sands, physical damage goblet, crit circlet. w/ that one craft-able spear that boosts physical damage (i forgot what it's called) at R5. i think she does pretty well and it's fun 👍🏾👍🏾 i haven't checked if she can do more damage with an attack sands, im using def bc her buff from her burst scales off def so it made sense to me lol

Yunjin and Candace buffs has different places in the dmg formula. Yunjin buff is greatly more powerful because it is a flat buff. She was clearly made for single target dps units (yoi), the quota is so that she doesn’t overreach her viability.

Yes the quota limit is an issue, but few characters are hurt because of this. Ayato being one of those.

The flat damage buff from her burst caps at 30 hits BUT the buff from her C2 & C6 remains even after exhausting the trigger quota.

Candace is also amazing for Childe. The Melee weapon stated there are just for the infusion, in the end it works as intended, similar to Bennett's C6 where the pyro damage increase is for everyone.
Childe is getting the same buffing as them, but with less focus on the infusion for he can self infuse.

Also, I would say, it will be near impossible for them to do an infusion that include bow normal stance for their Charged attacks are already self infused, same case for catalyst characters. It would be useless for them.

Also fun fact, Candace's normal attack talents (or her 1st, second, and third attacks at the very least) at their base levels ARE HIGHER THAN AYAKA'S ARE AT TALENT LEVEL 1!
At level 1 Ayaka's normal attack talents are as follows:
1 hit: 45.73%
2 hit: 48.68%
3 hit: 62.62%
4 hit: 22.65%×3
5 hit: 78.18%
Charged attack: 55.13%×3
Plunge damage: 63.93%
Low/high plunge damage: 127.84%/159.68%
So what is Candace's normal attack at level 1 talents?
1 hit: 60.8 (which, for reference: at level 6 talent Ayaka's first attack is 66.5% which is insanely close)
2 hit: 61.1
3 hit: 35.5% + 43.4%
4 hit: 94.9%
Charged attack: 124.18
And then they have the same plunging damage.
Ayaka still outperforms Candace due to her actually being made to be a DPS as opposed to Candace but it was still genuinely terrifying to learn that a 4 star character who wasn't even intended to be a DPS character had base talent levels that came even slightly close to my talent level 6 Ayaka.
And that's why even if Candace isn't anywhere near as strong as Ayaka and even if she's not a good DPS Candace has earned my respect soley because of that.

Normal attack talents don't even raise attack stats so even if her buffs did rely on attack that wouldn't really matter. Obviously the best talents to upgrade are her skill and burst especially since her normal attack talents don't really scale as well as a 5* I'm just saying that it's impressive for a 4* to have a base normal attack talent that's higher than one of the best 5* DPS in the game even if she doesn't use it and it doesn't scale as well.
I love candace i havent the team comp to fully take advantage of her but turning my auto attacks to hydro when i mostly use electro or cryo characters is pretty fun.
I like her appearance and voice actress all around one of my favorite sumeru characters
her small mecha-shield is OP.

In the same sense that Yunjin is, since she also has perfect counter but not too much overlap otherwise tbh. Since Beidou is off field dps rather than buffer, doesn't give infusion etc

But Candace as hydro beidou..... Eeeee. I also pulled for her because I didn't had beidou. While beidou parry, she blocks. I accepted that I can't expect a new character to have the same thing as beidou. Blocking have its own perks. Only disappointing thing was her burst is short. But hey, I still love my Candace.
My Candace only has her 1st ascension and is at level 40 and she can already hit 7k on a pretty regular basis. I built her so well.

Actually.. I've always wanted to main a polarm user who isn't Xiangling (her style isn't too flashy to me) so when i got Candace as my first 4 star of patch 3.1, i was super happy because she is a self sufficient polarm unit that can deal both phys and hydro. I currently use phy build on her and her na is lvl4 and is lvl50 character but she already does 8k QwQ so I'm def gonna main her as phys until i get decent hod
Edit: i used to main rosaria too.. that is before i got her C6 and she became a cryo support.

I love them both but finally there's someone that stands for Candace's kit
I put Candace into my Raiden aggrevate team for hyperblooms instead of Mona. I thought this would be a bad idea but I wanted to at least try her out. And then instead I fell in love with having Candace in the team.
She doesn't bring much to the table but she's so much fun. I mostly use her ult for the character switch aoe to generate blooms but her shield is just amazing for blocking through some big attacks instead of dodging and then followin up with the absolute nuke of a shield smash. I am taken a back every time I see the big numbers.
Self-vape diluc and and electroshock wolf boy are pretty good fun.
just gonna remind that theres no ICD on the explosion from quick swapping characters also.
Candace was ahead of her time, looks like she’s a great support for ayato and possibly future Fontaine characters
Candace Elemental Burst helps a lot with reactions.
Also, her shield can destroy minerals.
A use I’ve found for Candace’s hydro infusion is for Hyperbloom and burgeon teams (mainly burgeon with Thoma). Nahida’s burst gives EM to the active character but generally your hypedburgeon triggers are off field, that’s when with Candace and another hydro app like Kokomi, the hyperburgeon trigger will receive the EM buff and be justified to stay on field because of the hydro infusion

For aoe situations, Candace can definitely out perform yunjin just because she doenst have the trigger quota restriction, but her buff lasts a bit short at lower constellations.
