Great look through! We switched from RightStart this year to Second-grade MWC and it's been wonderful. I plan on sticking with MWC the whole way through. It's a wonderful program! I like the menu idea. I usually just laminate 2 games back to back but I may try that idea. I also love that you can print the black-line masters instead of having to make copies! Have a great summer!

    Thank you for this!
I switched my daughter (grade 2) from Math Mammoth to MWC early this year and it was the best choice for her. We are loving MWC and I hope it continues past grade 4.
My son, finishing grade 4 this year, has been using Math Mammoth. It’s a great fit for him but if MWC was around for him I would’ve definitely used it with him also.

Excellent video! I’m so torn if I should switch to Mwc for fourth grade ?! Currently finishing Math Mammoth grade 3 😬

How'd it go with Math Mammoth? Why do you want to switch?
I'm torn if I should switch from MWC to MM.

@@jessicaladd85looks cool but I’ll probably stick with Math mammoth. We don’t have issues with it. My kids also enjoy it very much. I’m just always looking just in case!

If you're using a solid, evidence-based program that is working and your child is retaining the skills, don't switch! I get it - new and shiny - but that alone isn't worth it. :)

If it's not broke don't' fix it. I left MM for MWC because they complained constantly about visual clutter; and I personally didn't like how multiplication chapters flowed in book 3. They are learning quicker with MWC on that specific concept. But MM is still my favorite program for mental math retention and might swing back and weave in Blue series in conjunction with MWC if I prefer how MM introduces a concept.
My math dilemma is over. Now I am overthinking LA here

@@AM-wy5vj I think it’s evidence based like Sara mentioned. My kids like it and we won’t be switching. But I love watching all of Sara’s videos. She has some really great stuff!
