My mom played his tapes in the car on the way to drop me off at school every morning. I am 40 now. I can remember him saying "if you can look up, you can get up". That always stuck with me. Thank you Mr. Les Brown.

les is a legend this mans words helped pass my way through high school I remember being not even eligible for commencement to even walk ar graduation and getting told from people to just settle get your GED and that voice I had inside of me told me NO! i wanna get my diploma and walk with my class and I remember in 1 night while listening to one of his lectures on youtube with the 3 classes I was behind I got them done in 1 night and was able to get myself from NOT being able to walk to WALKING AND getting my diploma to other people its a small accomplishment but to me that was such a revolutionary time in my life because at one point I almost settled for less and silenced that voice did what I had to do and succeeded and that to me told me 2 things at that moment 1 is that slacking gets you no where and 2 if you shut that negative voice up and give something everything you got in you, you will getting something in return and i did now I'm in the film industry in LA as a writer and director pursuing my passion for cinema anything is possible. God bless this man and god bless you all don't give up!

Omg the breakfast club. You guys don't understand what you have done by interviewing Les Brown. I allowed my voice to dimmed, I was silenced due to life's setbacks and I continued to procrastinate bcos l felt l was lacking in certain skills that would enable me to advance. Now more so after this interview l realise that l need to focus on my God given talents, get better at it daily to the extent that l won't be ignored, not just get invited to the table but eventually create my own table. I love people and l love to talk to people. Am now going to amplify my voice and monetize my story intead of being silenced.
Thanking you Les Brown and the breakfast club for a powerful interview. ❤❤❤
