Most of guys felt like he was taking shots at emiway talking indirectly about him he also said "Independent waale joh apna bana ke baithe woh log alag se akad se chalte" mostly he was talking about emiway.

It looks like you are new to the Desi Hip Hop. Cause if you have seen where king has come from, He also used to claim that he is an independent artist. Two of his albums were released by him when he was independent. But All king was trying to say is, some people have made different meaning of the word 'independent' where they are using the word to stay relevant.

At first you have no idea about hiphop then you listen some western hiphop here and there then after sometimes when your own country start making hiphop and people start becoming fans you as a wnnabe cool kid hate on them for the sake of it...then when you grow older after listening to world hiphop for years and years you start learning what is happening then you recognise who is real in the scene.......lemme give you example....people accused emiway for using kshmr's sample in machayenge song....if you have heard eminem's no love you will know he also used old no love song sample...people said emiway breaks lines just to rhyme which is cringe....even eminem breaks line to fit in rhymes...example( im alive again) (more alive than i have been in my whole entire life i can)( see these people's ear's perk up )(as i begin).........also i remember big scratch one time criticised emiway for using the same rhyming word in the end in more than 1 line....but when he later realised lil wayne also did that he understood even in recent diss battle kendrick used same rhyming word at the finish of more than 3-4 lines....people thought honey singh is not rapper bcoz he used ghost writter....even drake hires ghost writters...pitbull flo rida all has done party raps...they are also rappers...lil pump smoke purp six nine they are all rappers.....only in india some wannabe cool english song listeners think they know everything so they can just hate any artist...this is desi hiphop not forcefully foreign refrece based rapping
